I think there are a couple of art classes about town where Logan goes to one of them. Not sure if the classes are geared for younger kids. We also tried Logan in beginners music classes to see if he was interested, but we had to go to Haddington for that. Some form of music hub I think would be useful for all ages.
Squash courts, padel tennis and better gym facilities would be great. Appreciating squash was available, it’s the concrete slabbing (RACC) that’s the issue and impacts the whole side of the sports centre. I spoke to the Head of Operations at Musselborough who runs all East Lothian facilities who noted it’s an ELC problem and they were looking at solutions (that’s been a few years now with no movement). Conscious there was a survey going around for Padel in East Lothian that I filled in several months ago (preferred location, how often would use etc). It’s growing in popularity and would be great for people to have and try. On the gym, similar to your comment, the Marine is small and busy, but potentially the sporty is ok. Think there is a brand new facility in Haddington that I’ve heard people rave about. NB seems to be lagging a little.
