New References to Practice
The cat is likely the simplest as its lighting is simple and dramatic. The horse takes on more of a middle tone range that requires more precision (it's more flat). Turtle is deceptively simple, and is mostly toward the dark range, but over all dynamic range is small, which means it is also some what flat and requires more precision to achieve that dark surface while convey the form. It is also great practice of depicting shiny surfaces (dark or not) with appropriate highlights at right places. So one is more straight forward full tone rage (cat). One is middle tone precision practice (horse). One is dark tone precision practice (turtle). As always, post your drawings in the appropriate section. They will also be added to the reference module later. Again one of the simplest test to see if your drawing is over all correct, is stand back 10 feet+ and see whether your drawing still looks 3d with the main form conveyed. Details are relatively simple, they may take more time but that's about it.
