Card Use Internationally
What are the risks of using your card internationally, I see for banks like Capital One its a firm no, but what of for AMEX, just got the BCE and I'm scared of shutdown. I use Capital One strictly for U.S so no issues yet.

Everything i learned myself before joining
So idk what everyone here uses for proof of address but I found vonage to be working well for me. its a landline phone bill that you can use and can change ur address anytime. Pretty convenient can cancel anytime and renew anytime. so u only need to pay 15ish dollars a year! (not an ad) I found that capital one is the easiest by FAR to open an account with along with federal or non federal credit unions as well as Schwab. I had the International brokerage account for schwab so im not sure how it works if you apply directly for the bank account but i just had to provide a proof of address and a w9 form signing under perjury that i own that itin and so on. On the other hand capital one just asked for itin gov letter and passport no proof of address or anything. Literally just do those steps and apply for a credit card at capital one and ur fine. If you have an amex in ur home country (like i do) you can leverage that relationship and basically get an amex with no credit score in the us which i plan to do. thats my journey so far and i joined this group to make my process easier. OHHHH and the best vpn i found that lets u literally have a normal residential address without limit is starvpn (in the app store its called residential von) it allows multiple things like static residential and u can choose the carrier u wanna be connected to in the states as well as rotating and sticky and mobile wireless so literally its one of the best if not the best but very pricy at around 20-45 usd a month or you could do 1 dollar a gb which is more affordable ig. Quite nice.

Which Vonage subscription is this, there are several of them
The 5 Application Killers (And How to Avoid Them)
There are 5 specific things you should never put on business credit card applications because they instantly trigger denials. Banks won't tell you what you did wrong. You just get a rejection and a hard inquiry slapped on your report. Here is exactly how to avoid that. 1. Employment Status Never put "unemployed," "retired," or "self-employed." Banks view these as unstable. Always use employed. Even if you are a business owner, you can be an employee of your own business. Underwriters don't fact-check job titles - they just judge how risky you look on paper. 2. Inflated Income or Revenue Avoid inflating your numbers. Banks don't always ask for proof, but they compare your income claims against industry data, deposits, business age, and your existing credit limits. If the numbers don't match your profile, they decline you automatically. 3. Ignoring Personal Credit Business credit approvals still mirror your personal limits. If your highest personal limit is $5k, they are not giving you $30k on the business side. They’re just not. 4. Too Many Applications Applying at 5 banks back-to-back looks desperate. Plus, many banks use the same underwriting systems, so it looks like applying for the same card multiple times. The safe zone is 0-3 inquiries in the past 6 months per credit bureau. 5. Funding Reason Only use "good" reasons for needing funding. Never write "debt payoff" or "to cover bills." Banks see that as financial trouble. Use growth reasons instead: Inventory expansion, advertising, hiring. More growth means more money to repay the bank. See you in comments, Ain - Cloud Resident

0 -3 hard inquiries or soft inquiries?
AMEX BCE
So I applied for AMEX BCE and was asked to connect an account older than 90 days. None of my accounts are older than 90 days so I asked to complete later. Received a link to provide additional information but doesn't seem to be working. Should I call them or just abandon the application?

How I Secured a $45,500 Amex Business Limit as Cloud Resident
Most people wait for the bank to notice them before asking for more credit. If you want high limits you have to take them by following a repeatable play. I used this exact strategy to scale my 0% APR Amex Business limit up to $45,500 USD. It is not magic and it does not require a special connection. It is simply about understanding how the Amex algorithm handles risk. The first step is getting your foot in the door with your first Amex credit card. That initial approval usually triggers a hard pull on your Experian report. Once you have the card you need to use it like a average consumer for sixty to ninety days. Put real spending on it and show the bank you actually have a use for their limits. Instead of waiting for the due date you should pay your balance down early if spending is over 30% of limit. This signals to the bank that you have plenty of cash flow and zero risk of default. After your third statement cuts you go into the app and request a credit limit increase. The secret move here is the 3x rule. If your current limit is $5,000 you should request $15,000. Amex is one of the few lenders that will routinely triple your limit if you show good behavior. Once you get that first increase you mark your calendar for exactly ninety days. You can repeat this request every three months to keep scaling your limits higher. This is how I pushed my own business limit to the $45,500 mark. The best part of this relationship is that future Amex cards are usually soft pulls. You can build a massive credit profile without the stress of constant inquiries. You are training the bank to trust you with more money every single quarter. See you in comments, Ain - Cloud Resident
