So idk what everyone here uses for proof of address but I found vonage to be working well for me. its a landline phone bill that you can use and can change ur address anytime. Pretty convenient can cancel anytime and renew anytime. so u only need to pay 15ish dollars a year! (not an ad) I found that capital one is the easiest by FAR to open an account with along with federal or non federal credit unions as well as Schwab. I had the International brokerage account for schwab so im not sure how it works if you apply directly for the bank account but i just had to provide a proof of address and a w9 form signing under perjury that i own that itin and so on. On the other hand capital one just asked for itin gov letter and passport no proof of address or anything. Literally just do those steps and apply for a credit card at capital one and ur fine. If you have an amex in ur home country (like i do) you can leverage that relationship and basically get an amex with no credit score in the us which i plan to do. thats my journey so far and i joined this group to make my process easier. OHHHH and the best vpn i found that lets u literally have a normal residential address without limit is starvpn (in the app store its called residential von) it allows multiple things like static residential and u can choose the carrier u wanna be connected to in the states as well as rotating and sticky and mobile wireless so literally its one of the best if not the best but very pricy at around 20-45 usd a month or you could do 1 dollar a gb which is more affordable ig. Quite nice.
