Career Transition and Age Bias
I had a quick question about career transition and age bias. If someone is looking to change career whether it is their functional role or their industry, what is the age that employers start having age bias. Is anyone above the age of 40, is where employers start to have age bias ?

It definitely begins at age 40. As a matter of fact, recruiters and hr talent scouts are using AI to filter out older applicants. I am direct proof of that bias.

So what does everyone think of LinkedIn? I have a free one year premium subscription I received from the VA. Basically, I think it is garbage. AI is running rampant all over the site like a pack of rabid dogs. It’s full of “influencer” and “creator” accounts that I couldn’t care less about. I need a job. I don’t need advice from some CEO who makes $$ 300 times in a day what his/her/their employees receive in salary for a year. I don’t need shills selling me “job hunting coaching” services. It’s really a dark void of nothingness that I scream into but nobody hears me. StinkedIn. Yep.

It’s ageism. That is the number one reason that anyone over the age of 50 is struggling (like YEARS of job hunting) today. Prove me wrong. Yeah, I didn’t think so. Now we have AI, the latest tech fetish from the c-suite scanning and rejecting all job applicants over the age of 45-50. Oh yes, I can prove it. I don’t have the time or patience to do it in a forum like this.

@Regan Setter I am almost done I went way off script and made it fancy but stuck to your recommendations. Last section is a table for skills that should hit all of the AI 🤖 buzzwords so it makes it through the first round of robot scanning software.
