I have two Dell Optiplex 3050 micro with 32GB of RAM with additional 2.5G Intel card connected to an NFS share, I want to buy a third mini PC and using the internal disk bay add three SSD disks (I have to decide the size) and also configure the CEPH Storage part.

@Savor Fit Yes, they're running Proxmox.
Kubernetes pxe
Hi I wanted to make this a fun challenge but need help. I have seen https://github.com/khuedoan/homelab and https://github.com/aenix-io/kubefarm but is their a way to build a Kubernetes cluster that uses my truenas as storage and the pxe boot source so when my Kubernetes severs boot up the boot via the pxe image use truenas as storage and run apps via flux gitops.

Hi @Savor Fit , I used this docker image to create a PXE Server, https://github.com/garybowers/iventoy_docker you could create a custom app on Truenas with this image (I don't know if it's in the Truenas APP repository).

@Savor Fit I realized that the iVentoy Docker needs to run with the --privileged option, so depending on where your Docker is running, you might run into issues. In the past, I used a Proxmox helper script to deploy an LXC container for iVentoy. Here is the link to the helper script: https://community-scripts.github.io/ProxmoxVE/scripts?id=iventoy
Internal DNS
Hi everyone, I have installed a Technitium docker instance as internal DNS, I would like to import all the hosts present in the home network into the .local zone using the Technitium API part. What can I use to scan the network, try to get a description and then give a name to the host? I have used this as my internal DNS server, but I am open to any suggestions and therefore also to replace the DNS Server.
What Is Your Primary OS Daily Driver
I have two desktops (Win10 Pro and Linux) with my primary daily driver being Linux KDE Neon 6.3.5. Both desktop are linked together using a program called Synergy 3 which allows me to use one set of keyboard and mouse. I can smoothly go between the desktops with the mouse and this also allow me to copy and paste files as well. I also have Bluetooth speakers which is linked to both desktop so I can listen on one and work on the other. I included some pictures.

I use macOS 15.4 on a Mac Mini M4 as my daily driver and it has everything I need... the terminal and a good editor. I also have a Macbook Pro laptop and two Dell OptiPlex 3050 Micro with Proxmox.😁
