@Cheryl Maxey Wow. I definitely will check it out. You're making my mouth water and you're right about how expensive dairy free is plus all the additives. Making nice cream took so much energy that i don't care to do it anymore, even tho it's a great addition to eating raw and good for me. Thanks again, Cheryl!

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY FROM JJ
Happy Motivational Monday, Plantz4merz VIP! ☀️ Raise your hand if you've ever watched a two minute preview on TV "just to see if it looks good"... and then found yourself three episodes deep before you know it🤣 Nobody plans to binge a whole season. It just happens. One good scene pulls you into the next, and the next, and before you know it you're invested. That's the exact energy I want you to bring into this lifestyle. Not the pressure of "I'm doing this perfectly for 30 days straight." The energy of just watching one good scene. One fruit lunch. That's it. That's the whole plan. One big filling salad It's something you can actually do today, and something you can look back on tonight and say "I did that" not I am going to do it. And here's the secret nobody tells you: that one thing has momentum built right into it. You eat those grapes for lunch, and a few hours later you think, maybe I'll grab a few walnuts too. Dinner comes around and you remember that avocado on your counter you've been wanting to turn into guac, so you make it, throw together a big salad with every single veggie in the fridge you can find. Then that "I need something sweet" dessert thought hits and you remember that JJ mentioned that almond milk banana & date smoothie.. so you make that too. You didn't force any of that. You didn't struggle your way through a list of rules... or start thinking you want anything else because the pressure was gone. You just kept saying yes to the next good scene. And by the end of the day, you basically ate raw... starting with grapes. One meal.. leads to the next This is why I don't want you chasing perfect. I want you chasing consistent. Because consistency is what actually rewires how you think about this lifestyle, and once your mind shifts, the actions start to feel natural instead of forced. So here's what I really want you to think on today... If you feel like you're not where you "should" be yet, I want you to release that feeling and change it to....

I keep forgetting how simple it is. That makes so much sense instead of trying to figure out what I’m going to eat just eat fruit or salad!

I have been eating all raw except for iced tea for the past 4 days. I blew it today with pizza. I couldn't get it out of my mind after ordering pizzas for a church member and her family yesterday who had pizza on her list for the "meal train" signup after having surgery. Bummer.

Slip Up
There was a time last year when one "slip up" would've convinced me to quit. A bowl of guacamole and chips would've turned into a derailment of my intention towards optimal health and wellness. Not this time. This journey isn't about perfection. It’s about returning to the foods that make me feel my best. Lately, that's looked like vibrant salads, juicy fruit, nourishing smoothies, and fresh cold-pressed juices. 🌱🍉🥗 Every time I fill my body with living foods, I'm reminded how incredible I feel, more energized, more clear-minded, and more connected to myself. Yes, recently I had guacamole and chips. A response to stress and adjustment to life after moving into my new studio apartment. Then I kept going. No guilt. No punishment. No starting over. Just another opportunity to nourish my body with whole, living foods. The truth is, consistency isn't never missing the mark. It's choosing to come back to the habits that support your wellness, again and again. Progress over perfection. Nourishment over shame. One meal doesn't define your journey. We're building a lifestyle, not chasing perfection. 💚
