10K Week 3 Homework
Hey Team, 3 weeks in - how is the training going! This week is all about celebrating the wins so far, big or small. These wins really do add up. Let me know, what have been your wins so far?

My week 3 is non-existent.πŸ˜” Combination of full time work, partners family staying, rain, rain, rain and rain and dog sitting a friend's dog (I did manage minimum 6km walks every day) but no running at all. Good news is, no more relatives, dog has gone to another dog sitter and the rain has stopped. time to focus on me.

Geno, thanks for this. I missed last week's check in, belated apologies. We have friends staying this Friday - is the check in very long?

Geno, when I do the kneeling hip flexor stretch (Runner mobility routine), I feel the stretch in my quads, rather than my hip/thigh. I've watched the video a few times plus other video's and still get the same result. I do have extremely tight quads, so wonder if this is simply a consequence? Maybe there's some additional stretching required (forever πŸ˜€) to stretch my quads?

My 2026 running goal is to do 60mins, 10kms. my fastest time is 1hr, 9 mins. I started running about 2 years ago with parkrun (first time ever running 5kms and nearly died!). Slowly I built up to 10kms and have managed to do some Aramex walk/run events and other running events. I run because it helps both my mental and physical fitness). I've just turned 58 and at that age and stage of life where I'm noticing my mobility is average so I'm looking forward to moving more, with ease.
