Pythagoras: Beans contained spirits of the dead
Pythagoras — if we are to presume he was a real man who existed, which for these purposes, let’s presume he was real & existed… Well, I recently came across the notion that Pythagoras prohibited eating beans! Apparently he believed real souls were contained in them — or something about the souls of the underworld being inside the bean — I’m not fully sure… Here’s what Aristotle said about it (if we presume Aristotle was real too)… According to Aristotle, Pythagoras counseled abstinence from beans either because they are like the genitals, or because they are like the gates of Hades . . . as being alone unjointed, or because they are injurious, or because they are like the form of the universe, or because they belong to oligarchy, since they are used in election by lot.” Diogenes Laertius, Lives of Eminent Philosophers, R.D. Hicks, Ed. Just found this interesting and wanted to share & see if anyone has any thoughts to add!

I think there’s also a notion that the gas it lets out is part of your soul
Magick lesson tonight at 6PM CST - REPLAY WILL BE POSTED EITHER TONIGHT OR TOMORROW
Hey everyone, sorry for the last minute re-scheduling. I still plan on doing the lecture today but a little later than expected, Again I apologize for the sporadic/chaotic scheduling the past couple weeks or so with this, but once I return from my trip then things will stabilize again for me. I am still planning on doing another lecture next week as originally planned but it may be later in the evening for next week. But again once I return then my usual scheduling and timing will return to normal. Anyways I hope all is well with you guys, and I'll see you tonight! EDIT/UPDATE: The replay of today's lesson will be posted most likely tomorrow, so stay tuned!

A demonstration drawing on what I see through the words of Thomas H. Burgoyne
How profoundly extraordinary it is to be a human (physical matter that is a shadow of the realms above) as an incarnation we must have been so cosmically aligned with the universe, and have always been. This life and breath is such a blessing! What a profound feeling to have incarnated here in the microcosm of the all encompassing, all spectrum. Makes me feel so much closer to myself, knowing I am one with existence of the upper realms. This book is profound, thank you for the recommendation Santos! Cheers!
