Tuck Press to Handstand help
I feel like I’m really close to accomplishing the tuck press to handstand, where I tuck in my legs, bend my arms, and then push up. My issue is that I can’t extend my arms and straighten out my legs over my hips at the same time. I do either one before I can do the other, and so I’m either doing a tuck planche with my arms straightened and I’m stuck there or I have my legs straightened but I faceplant into the ground because my arms buckle. I believe I have the strength because I do my pike pushup variations well, so where am I going wrong?

@Denislav Stoyanov yeah you should try protract your shoulders as you lean forward and have your elbows tucked in and not flaring. You might also just need to improve your shoulder strength if you can't hold your weight on bent arms yet.

@Denislav Stoyanov also if your pike push ups are good u can do chest to wall handstand push ups to get used to the full upright position

Protein goals
Apparently the recommended protein intake when training is over 2g per kg of bodyweight every day so for me I’d have to eat over 160g of protein per day and I have no idea how I would be able to get that much in my meals. How does everybody else reach such a high amount and how should I reach that?

Do I fully master the skill before I switch to weighted calisthenics? For example as of now I'm working on tuck planche with weights. Or should I get planche down then use weights?

Weighted tuck planche? I’ve never heard or that before usually just going to the next progression is the way
