I decided to experiment on today's upload. So my retencion is usually 2min. I tried everything, shorter videos, longer videos, lots of editing, no editing, straight forward to the point, gatekeeping for a bit. The only thing that worked was SHORT FORM LIKE EDITING, which is expensive AF on long form. So because I couldn't have Mr beast type editing with my budget I decided to cut back on the editing. Hmm. How can I get similar numbers with low amount of editing. Why not just... Tell the viewer that this video is only for the ones with long attention span and others should quit. And OFC no one want's to admit their attention span is low so they watch the video for WAY longer. One sentence, 0 spent on editing, higher retention. Here's the data. Image number 1 is low editing. Length 6:31. Edited the video myself so Free Image number 2 is high editing. Length 5:14. Spent on editing $130 Both videos same exact concept. Number 2 had longer to cook then the 1, but immediately the Low editing one reaches higher retencion right of the bat.

If you're using the video checklist I gave you a while back, you'll have at least 3 talking points for each video you make. Usually the points being some kind of pain your audience is experiencing and the sub points being the solutions to those problems. Here's what I noticed a couple days ago: Each of these talking points from your YouTube video can make for super easy - nurture emails - skool posts - youtube community posts - instagram stories - X/Twitter/Linkedin/Threads/Facebook Posts Very few people will regularily consume all your content across all platforms. And those who do will appreciate the reminder each time you post about a topic. So feel free to repurpose your talking points in different formats for free chances of exposure & nurturing :)

I know it's a little thing, but I changed my banner and profile picture and I think it looks a lot more enticing and I feel like it fits my channel more. Let me know what you think- be honest. The SECOND image is the updated banner and picture.

@Finn Akin recently remade his banner and it made me realize I never thought about banners to be honest. And they don't matter a ton in my opinion. They serve up to three purposes: - letting people know about your links in about page - asking for subscriptions & notifications turned on - just looking cool ...and which one you go with is (or if you combine them) is entirely up to you Below are some banners I really liked, maybe one resonates with you as well & you can just copy it.
