How one sentence improved my retencion. with data!

I decided to experiment on today's upload.

So my retencion is usually 2min.

I tried everything, shorter videos, longer videos, lots of editing, no editing, straight forward to the point, gatekeeping for a bit.

The only thing that worked was SHORT FORM LIKE EDITING, which is expensive AF on long form.

So because I couldn't have Mr beast type editing with my budget I decided to cut back on the editing.

Hmm. How can I get similar numbers with low amount of editing.

Why not just...

Tell the viewer that this video is only for the ones with long attention span and others should quit.

And OFC no one want's to admit their attention span is low so they watch the video for WAY longer.

One sentence, 0 spent on editing, higher retention.

Here's the data.

Image number 1 is low editing. Length 6:31. Edited the video myself so Free

Image number 2 is high editing. Length 5:14. Spent on editing $130

Both videos same exact concept.

Number 2 had longer to cook then the 1, but immediately the Low editing one reaches higher retencion right of the bat.
