We Just Hit 100 Team Members
Team, We did it. In just 10 days, we've built a clubhouse of 100 founding members. Because of this, I've decided to make a big change to accelerate our mission. Effective today, the Rugby Everest community is remaining 100% FREE to join. My goal is to get as many dedicated players in here as possible. The free and open clubhouse will be our foundation. Our deep-dive blueprints, the Classrooms, will now be premium, paid courses for new members. FOR YOU, THE 100 FOUNDERS: My promise to you stands. As my thank you for being the first to believe in this, you have been given FREE, LIFETIME ACCESS to all current and future paid classrooms. You will never have to pay for a course. You are the OGs. What's Coming Next: The Founder's Reward As a thank you for being the foundation of this club, I'm working on something special. Very soon, I'll be rolling out our affiliate program. It's a simple way for you to get paid for bringing your teammates into the club. I'm just finalising the details. Get ready for it.

Intro
Hi everyone, I’m Thomas from Mauritius. I started playing rugby when I was 8 years old, and now I’m 23. I play as a winger, fullback. After Covid, I didn’t play rugby seriously for a while. I moved to France in 2022 and didn’t get the chance to play there either. Today, I’m back in Mauritius and have started playing again because I really missed it! I had the chance to represent my country at junior level somes times, but to be honest, my lack of work ethic and dedication held me back from pushing myself to the senior level. I know I needed to put in more effort and commitment. Looking back, I regret that a lot, especially when I see teammates I played with growing up achieving great things. I’m proud of them and shout their names in the stands everytime they got the ball, but I also can’t help thinking to myself: that could be me one day if I truly commit. I don’t mean to sound arrogant my goal isn’t to compare but I genuinely want to get better. 💪 I’m here to grow, not only as a player but also as a teammate. I want to push myself, improve my overall skills, and contribute to the team in every way I can. 🤝

Fantastic intro, and it's brilliant that rugby's pulled you back onto the pitch. We've all had those moments of looking back and wishing for more dedication, so your honesty is really appreciated. You're in the right place to push yourself as a player and teammate. How do you plan to keep that new level of commitment going day-to-day ?
My ‘No Talent’ Standard
My 'No Talent' Standard is the Dan Carter ’Next Job' focus. For the next two weeks, my only goal after executing any skill is to not self-congratulate but refocus myself on the next job, next play, or next skill that I have to do

That Dan Carter focus on the 'Next Job' is absolutely key. No dwelling, just straight to the next challenge !
My biggest lie
My biggest lie was believing physical dominance made you a better player. My new truth is that intelligence, timing, and skill allow you to reach a higher level

Thanks for this insight bud ! It's powerful stuff. Intelligence, timing, and skill are indeed the real engines of high-level rugby ! Any specific moments lately where relying on those elements paid off ? I guess as a 10 it happens quite often but curious to know from you
Read to learn and work
Hi my name is Tuawhio, I’m 21 and I play in a 1st/2nd division club competition in New Zealand, as a 10 or 15. My biggest On-Field challenge is game management and my #1 goal from being a member of Rugby Everest is to learn and improve my understanding of the game, so that I can contribute more to my team and have a more commanding presence on the pitch.

Great to have you here all the way from New Zealand. Your goal is at the very heart of what we do. "Game management" is the key that unlocks everything for a 10 or 15. It's the difference between a good player and a great one. You're going to get a massive amount out of the "On-Field Mastery" classroom, especially the modules on tempo control and tactical kicking. Glad to have you with us. What club are you playing for over there ?

I spent 1000s of hours studying the minds of pro players so you don't have to. My mission is to give you their tactical & mental cheat codes.
