We truly are vessels waiting to be visited 💜🔮 Releasing everything stored in our bodies can be a deeply rewarding reunion with ourselves, if not altogether transformative. Because somatic releases can take a lot out of you, please prioritize drinking plenty of water and getting deep rest. To help integrate the experience, put some gentle effort into grounding yourself over the next couple of days. You might try earthing by taking a slow walk barefoot on the grass, intentionally noticing the texture and temperature beneath each footstep. You can also try sensory awareness: sit comfortably in an armchair with a warm cup of herbal tea and consciously focus on the weight of the mug in your hands, the warmth radiating into your skin, and the physical sensation of each slow sip. The 5-4-3-2-1 method is wonderful, take a moment to look around your room and acknowledge 5 things you can see, 4 things you can physically feel, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste to come right back into the present moment.
