@James Humecky kindly allowed me to work on the audio for the Somatic Pleasure Community Signature, and I thought it would be fun to share a little behind-the-scenes look at some of the choices that helped bring it to life, because what you hear can completely change what you feel! In this short breakdown, I talk about: 🌿 Nature sounds (birds, ocean, pool...) 💨 Breath transitions ✨ Small sound details that support the story (like the bed creaking) 🎙️ Voice enhancement 🎵 Music and emotional pacing My intention wasn't simply to make the video sound better. This is also my way of 🍒modeling🔥, and creating a more authentic connection and a "safe space", for you to share more authentically and transparently. Besides, 🍒 Skool doesn't have much of a "bio" section. You will find, or if you've been in this community for a bit you will have figured out, that I'm a fairly open book. I don't have a lot to hide (but there is some shit you don't get to know 😉♥️🙊🙉🙈🔥 .... yet) I won't hit you with everything in this post - that would be hard to swallow in one go.👂🏼 I will be very discerning, and I call on you to do the same, about who I share with and what I share. I wrote a piece a while back, which I just recently reposted into my Substack.... It's called "The Hedonic Man." It is my personal Manifesto at the moment. Truly, I've lived an exciting, exploratory, intense, loving, sexy, sometimes violent, and ultimately extremely authentic 🔥LIFE‼️and with more audacity than the average man 🍒‼️♥️😎🔥🍒 🐻🦅🔥 Growing up in in the wild frontier and the developing oil fields of Alaska in the 60's and 70's, shaped a lot of of my perception and the way I have constructed my experience here in this life. 🪖🎖️ When I was 18, I joined United States Marine Corps, which continue to shape me and my perceptions and skill sets. 💃🏽🕺 I've been married and divorced couple of times. Once to a Korean woman and once to a woman from Nicaragua. I have two adult children and three grandchildren whom I adore… And whom I think pretty much adore me as well. 💖 In 2004 I took my first massage class and it's been gangbusters ever since… In other posts, I will begin to introduce some of the modalities and philosophies that have influenced and guided the development of my work, and from which have drawn much my personal and professional philosophy. Working with @Jason Strickland over at his community, The Art Of Poetry. He put together an anthology titled "Where our Voices Rise" He has community members submitting their work and he puts together anthologies that are super professional. He then publishes them through his company and they are up on Amazon Our own @Eva Savicki is also published in the this anthology - she writes beautifully!! I am very honored to be in the company of these amazing people and to see my work sitting beside their's.
