How to prevent a workflow from processing the same item multiple times?
Hi all, what is the standard method in n8n to 'remember' items that have already been processed? My workflow runs on a schedule to fetch the latest item, but I only want to trigger an action the very first time an item is seen to avoid sending duplicate notifications. Thanks!

@Razvan Sava I created a solution with Google Sheets and some IF functions. When new IDs come in, I share the video. Afterwards, I add the IDs to the Google Sheet. The next time the workflow runs, it sees the old IDs and follows the rule, so it doesn't share the video again.

@Kaushik Barot @Razvan Sava You won't believe how I solved it! I just put in a 'remove duplicate' node and it worked wonders!

How to Build an Automated Discord News Bot with N8N?
Hello dear community, I currently have a new project idea, but I haven't been able to find much on the internet yet. There is definitely some visual material, but not of the quality needed for learning. I'm playing with the idea of automating Discord news. The goal is to get information using either a webhook or an HTTP request node, process it, and then post it to my Discord channel. I'm looking forward to your suggestions, and any directional tips you'd be willing to give would be welcome.

@Razvan Sava I've already watched a few videos, but my biological computer needs some time to solve the puzzle!

@Razvan Sava i use the selfhosted version, and i got also the same node like the cloud ones. but i didn't see anyone do a video about this new n8n update and the native implementation of the new nodes inside it.
