What style of glove have you purchased? Roll finger, hybrid or negative cut? The hand shape will determine what style of glove to buy.

I forgot to mention that I am not a big fan of the finger spines for the younger children as it will restrict there ability to catch the ball. It is very important at that early age for the child to develop there finger muscles and get use to catching the ball naturally.
Shop returns
Hi all. Hopefully some of the more ‘experienced’ members can help me out so I don’t have to bother Ray or any of his staff. Need to return the gloves I bought for myself as too small (I’ve bought a size up). It says on the site to ‘include the returns slip’ but all that was in the package was an invoice - no returns slip. Anyone able to offer any advice ? Thanks in advance. P.S I’ve anyone wants to buy a brand new set of size 8 Vantra negative let me know and I can post to you and not worry about returning them. 👍🏼

J4K Shok Shield: The ONLY Glove Of its Kind!
Guys, a few of you asked why I developed the J4K Shoks - Please See why Below. Also, please comment below your thoughts on this unique glove. As a professional goalkeeper, I suffered a serious hand injury when an opponent stamped on the back of my hand, breaking the small bones. That experience led me to create the J4K Shok Shield, a glove designed to protect the back of the hand—like a shin pad for goalkeepers. Unlike traditional finger-save gloves, which prevent fingers from bending backward, the Shok Shield focuses on impact protection. The backhand features shock-absorbing material that shields fragile bones from stamps, kicks, and hard collisions, while remaining flexible enough to allow full hand movement. This means goalkeepers can still bend their hands naturally, form a fist, and play without restrictions. Young and developing goalkeepers, in particular, are vulnerable to injuries that can shake their confidence. The J4K Shok Shield provides elite-level grip, a snug negative cut fit, and lightweight durability, ensuring keepers get both safety and top performance. Designed by a goalkeeper, for goalkeepers, these gloves allow keepers to play with total confidence, knowing their hands are protected. Whether you're an aspiring junior or an experienced shot-stopper, J4K Shok Shield gloves help you stay safe while performing at your best. 🔹 To read the full article, check it out here: https://j4ksports.co.uk/blogs/default-blog/the-j4k-glove-that-acts-like-a-shin-pad

I am not big in using glove spines but when I started using the Shok shield I was hooked. They still give you the protection while still allowing finger flexibility.
Coming off your line
Hi everyone, I'm quite new this group - my 13yr old son played today, the team he plays for isn't that good and are near the bottom so most games he is under a lot of pressure. He has a number of goal keeper training sessions outside this team and is progressing well with his training however, his outfield players keep telling him what to do and even more so today when a number of them kept telling him to stop coming off his line. His training focuses on coming out but with the pressure from his team he is getting confused. Any thoughts on what he is best to do please?

There is a time and place as to when to come off your line. Unfortunately this will only come with training and experience. As you learn and grow in the keeper position your experience, conditioning and speed ability will help as to know when is the time to come off your line. I have been a keeper now for over 50 years and I still get my team mates yelling for me to come off my line. The one reason I have figured out as to why they do this is because they are either too tired or lazy to run back and cover. My advise is to keep training and listening to the coaches and keep working at it.

Grass stains are a protein based stain. Dilute ammonia 1 part to 4 parts water add a bit of liquid dish soap and mix. Squirt the liquid mix on stain and let sit then brush with soft bristle brush or scrub with your hands then laundry. See if that helps
