For my veggie friends!
It’s hard to feel seen in an online community. But I see you! To my friends in this community who opt out of eating meat, this breakfast is for you. Thanks for sharing your lives and choices so we can all experiment, learn, and grow. Quinoa, black beans, romaine, cherry tomatoes, zucchini.

@Kelsey Drake no problem and the best thing I can say is enjoy the journey!

@Kelsey Drake just be aware that it’s a green powder. But on the bright side, you can have actual green eggs and ham. Unless you’re going for a vegetarian breakfast and then you might want to leave out the ham portion lol
Group Question: caffeine
I got back and forth on caffeine. I’ve quit it, I’ve gone back to it, and I truly don’t know how I feel about it. I drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day, but I’m trying to decide if I want to give it up again. What are your thoughts on caffeine? Do you consume it? If so, how and how much? No judgements. Genuinely curious.

@Kelsey Drake i personally try to stay away from it. I do drink Ryze coffee but the energetics come from mushrooms. I think if you follow the everything in moderation thought process, it will be ok. Some people laugh at my opinion but this has helped me over the last 12 years.
Sick day breakfast
Not feeling great today. Kept breakfast simple.

@Kelsey Drake I understand. Also I have to mention that I’m not a medical professional nor did I play one on tv. Hopefully you get feeling better soon and the smoke dissipates as well. We had that here from the neighbors to the north (Canada) and it wasn’t as good as it could have been.

I would recommend a comprehensive blood test that I get that is very economical and the only thing that the doctor recommends is supplements and foods. I think it’s worth the 350-600 depending on when you get in. The “membership” is for two tests. The first one usually involves two draws a week apart.
Lunch
Purple cabbage, chicken salad with a bit of space added to give it a bit more interest.

@Kelsey Drake I usually have just one or two days per week with beets as it generally gives my wife some pause as it discolors my urine. It generally takes me reassuring to calm her down on that. Just a note of caution

@Kelsey Drake also put a few ice cubes in the vitamix before starting the emulsion. Otherwise you’ll have beet soup 🫤
Breakfast - One English muffin left! 😢
I am completely in love with these sourdough English muffins from the farmers market. Went back yesterday to grab another package, but sadly her booth wasn’t there. Down to my last muffin now — fingers crossed she’s back on Saturday!

@Kelsey Drake we gotta get you to make them. It’s rather enjoyable according to my wife.

This path started 11 years ago when I was stung in the back of the neck. Have lost a few modalities but try to continue to look on the bright side
