I took the leap and made my first public stream here. It was rusty and not well managed but, i made it anyway and thanks to those who showed up. Opinions ?!

I thought it went fine. You have to be rusty first before you flow smoothly. I agree with @Malik Lafia that a camera might be good. And that's more so you can practice your model face. Lol... You might not even need to show your face for your videos but better to practice with those you are comfortable with so if you get an opportunity to be on an art or sci/fi webcast interviewing you, you already have your camera and a light that flatters you setup. Etc. Your not scrambling and stressing about it before going live when it counts. My other thought is that this format seems like a good reward to give your supporters. The opportunity to be close to you and see your process and thoughts and possibly be part of building the project focused on the first 100 explorers has value to fans...But it might not be the format that's going to make you a 5 minute speed paint showing you painting something from start to finish. Simply because your more open to questions and trying to make your brain be able to talk (in a second language!) AND design. That might be better done with you doing some design work, then recording a separate voice over where you can do multiple takes and edit the video however you want. But a still feel like this formats a good one. And hopefully you keep doing it!

@Phéçale Lafia So is mine. Genetics and time can be cruel! 😑
Planning for future streams
I really enjoyed the stream of yesterday and I was thinking about the future plannification. Should we build some factions or work together on some subplots for the universe. I already have some themes like gambling, human traficking, greed and freedoms.

I'm not sure how to vote on this. I think you will obviously be the one deciding this. I guess I would vote towards whatever you think helps YOU the most from having an audience and saying your thoughts out loud. Or what you felt like after the stream. What did you work on after the stream? If for example, did you feel it was beneficial to express your thoughts about what you want to do with the first 100 explorers out loud? Did it help crystalize the idea and make it more real? Rather than just "something I've been thinking about". If so, maybe that's a good direction. I could see the same thing helping for other areas of art and world building. But probably the format isn't the best for something where your putting your head down and really trying to do some drawing, painting, or writing. Or like if your really "in the weeds" and putting ideas together that your not sure about. Sometimes those things need solitude and a little time to marinade on the page or in your brain. Afterwards however, perhaps its useful to say the ideas out loud and get a feel for how the ideas sound when explaining them to a person who isn't as familiar and you want to make the idea feel more official and validated. I could also see the use of the stream as a deadline you give yourself if your feel like you have too many different ideas but are having trouble sitting down and trying them out. Because you wont be able to present like 9 different things. Your only going to be able to present a few. And if your going to "present them" then you'll need to have done a little prep work to be ready to talk about them. So I'm not sure if that would motivate you, but it might help you pick ideas that are "good enough to try" rather than just the secret most perfect thing ever, that goes round and round in circles in your head.
Competition is launched ??
Just another promotionnal trailer for Huxley. Just released few minutes ago. But for some reasons, people are mad in the comments of this video cause it is just a comic and not a game 😅.

@Malik Lafia agreed. Rule #1 of internet... Do not listen to CyKa_bLyAT_Elon3000's opinion on anything. Haters gonna hate.
Sci-Fi Comics
On todays stream @Phéçale Lafia Asked to drop some favorite sci-fi comics. And that got me thinking and going through my collection. So here are some of mine: Prophet: https://www.zipcomic.com/prophet-issue-21 It actually starts with issue #21. This might be one of my absolute favorites. The art style isn't for everyone though. Its drawn by a few different people for the different stories that take place in the universe. You can read the whole thing here. If you can get over the sort of weird grungy art style you get rewarded, with just how creative and strange every issue is. There's literally no part of of the universe that's not strange and alien. Saga: https://imagecomics.com/read/saga Saga is very very good. Its very character driven and the characters are diverse, sort of strange but everybody has a lot of heart. Its not at all hard sci-fi and its probably about 50% fantasy. Its got great art and dialogue. Its got a lot of mature themes in it, so be ready for some nudity. Its hard to exactly explain saga because on paper it sounds pretty silly. But I'd recommend giving it a read. Its the type of comic book that makes you want to cry when your favorite character dies. And some of them do :( Low: https://imagecomics.com/read/low Low might be one of the prettiest sci-fi comics with the sheer flow in Greg Tocchins linework really being the star. Like every issue there will be multiple pages that are literally frameable. I enjoy that anytime he draws a machine its literally all abstract curves. Its a interesting universe too, humans live underwater and the sun is dying. So all the flowy aquatic life works really well with his style. The covers on this whole series are just phenomenal too. I'd recommend googling them. Nudity warning in this comic too, Greg likes drawing his ladies. (But theres not that much of it).
