The Connection That Transformed My Journey in the Hub
When I first joined Assets For Life Hub, I was full of excitement but also unsure about when results would truly show up. I kept learning, applying, and pushing forward, but the real turning point came when I connected with an e-commerce business owner who helped me see things from a different perspective. That connection shifted everything, and that’s when the results started to come in. The Hub is full of resources, support, and opportunities, but sometimes, it only takes the right connection or the right step forward to unlock what you’ve been chasing. For those of you just getting started here, what do you think will be the biggest step that helps you move from learning to actually creating the income you’re expecting?

I like how you’re already thinking ahead with the BLT strategy asking if it’s the right one for you shows you’re serious about making the best moves. From Owning Property to Building a Property Business Strategies That Work?
Hi everyone 👋 I’ve been diving into the content here and already picking up some powerful insights on how to structure property deals and grow sustainably. One thing I’m realizing is that strategy can be the difference between just “owning property” and actually building a scalable property business. I’m currently working on refining my approach, especially around creative financing and sourcing the right type of buy-to-let deals, and I’d love to exchange ideas with others on what’s working for them. What strategies have you found most effective in taking your property journey to the next level?
Permitted Development Prior Approval application
Can anyone recommend a planning consultant for PD applications? Does anyone have any guidance on what to include in a PD application to ensure that I get prior approval by default if the local authority doesn’t reply within the statutory 56 day period? Thanks in advance!

@Lee McGoldrick Make sure your submission is complete and valid, including scaled drawings, site/block plan, ownership certs, and a short statement showing how it meets PD rules. If it’s valid and the council doesn’t respond in 56 days, you should get deemed consent. A local planning consultant with PD experience can help ensure it’s watertight.
