Well being and sustainable homes
Good morning. I had my onboarding with @Samuel Appleby this week which was very thorough and very useful, so thank you Sam. The reason for being here is that I would like to be involved in creating quality, affordable and sustainable homes. I have lived aboard so would like to bring some design ideas from down under. As the climate changes we may possibly need to incorporate that into design. I used to be an energy advisor then carried out EPC's and would like to make homes that are cheaper to run with a focus on nice outside spaces. Accommodation is the number one link to mental health, so spaces need to bright, light, safe and comfortable and will stand the test of time, so don't look awful over time. I am really keen to look at products such as solar sheets that can go on windows and I saw a sky light that also becomes a balcony yesterday, so innovation is important to me. I will be on the course in February so look forward to it and Merry Christmas.

@Jerry Yau Hi Jerry, yes, I want to add value, I want people to have a nice home that doesn't cost the earth to live in. Each property needs to be something that I would live in, something bright and airy, warm and functional with no cheap units and appliances that need replacing after a few years. On my socials, I get lots of great ideas.
