Keyword search in Publisher Rocket
Hi everyone - last night I did an extensive search for keywords in Publisher Rocket's Keyword Search tool. I ended up with many (50 or more) that ranked below 30, and about 25 that ranked me at #1 with a monthly earning of $2500-$30,000. I'm surprised by the earnings, but I'm not surprised to be #1 a lot because my book is the only one on my subject matter. I'm not sure how to choose the 7 keywords for Amazon out of all these! Any ideas? Has anyone gone through this process already? Thanks! 😕

@Lauriann Greene I completely understand where you’re coming from. I was once in your shoes too, especially when I had a long list of keywords that all looked promising and wasn’t sure which ones were actually worth choosing. Eventually, I came across a system that helped me make sense of the keyword research and narrow things down more strategically. It’s a system I’ve continued using up until today, and I’ve also shared it with a few other authors who were interested in trying it. If you’d like, I’d be happy to share what I’m using and how I approach choosing the keywords. Hopefully it can make the process a little easier for you.

Hello everyone
I’m excited to be here and finally introduce myself to the community. I’m an author, and I’ve joined this group because I’m looking forward to connecting with other writers, learning from your experiences, and sharing a few lessons from my own journey along the way. One thing I’m especially interested in is the part of being an author that happens after the writing, publishing, reaching the right readers, building visibility, and turning a book into something that can genuinely make an impact. Cover artwork for Movie Structure
Having learned that artwork takes a long time, I am getting a jump on this. Any thoughts?

@Joe Tyndall This is a great idea, getting a head start on the artwork can save you a lot of time later. For a movie-structure book, I’d make sure the cover communicates storytelling, filmmaking, and structure at a glance while still looking professional and book-market ready. What kind of visual direction are you considering, something cinematic and dramatic, or more clean and instructional?
