Failed run (But a good walk) Day 5
I felt good this morning and I was ready to get a run in but my legs did not feel like it. Failed :) But thats ok because I got in just under 7km walk before it gets to hot. Also got in 100 pushups (elevated on the back of benches) I think I need a running partner to push me to run even when my legs dont want to.

no such thing as failure, just lessons learned. My treadmill pushes me lol, but I have to make the effort to go downstairs 😕
Start Here... Step 1... What are your goals?
I am very goal orientated (I actually struggle to get anything done unless the goal is written down) so I want you to to get the most out of this group and I want to help you get there. Is it just to run every day down the block? Fully recover from injuries? Run 5k or a 10k? Whatever it is we all want to know so we can cheer you on, help you out, get you answers and grow together! I'll go first!

Hey everyone 👋 I’ve got 2 goals related to running. 1. I want to run my first 5k. I’ve done the couch to 5k a year or so ago,but got hurt & didn’t continue running. 2. I want to run my first 10k…before a milestone birthday I have coming up. Just so happens my final week of the 10k program I’m doing should end on October 24. Seems appropriate with Scott’s event being the 25th. I’m slow, focusing on not getting hurt & building endurance…so I too can’t just join a group. So count me as 1 of the hundreds in the same situation as Scott.

@Desiree Dallman hey Desiree! It was pain in one hip 🙁 My first run after I finished the C25K program I couldn’t do without excruciating pain. I thought I’d been stretching enough, but apparently not. It took a couple of months to feel better. Feel free to reach out and we can chat more.
