I’m in a job where I need to de-escalate people issues and support employees. ‘Struggle’ is maybe a strong word in my case but I definitely do notice having to compartmentalise and the energy it takes to deal with others chaos at times then pull away to reconnect with my own energy and space the days I’m not working. I’ve finished for the week and feeling the fatigue before the recharge.

I’m exploring redefining that term. Mainly because of what trauma does to the body and brain and how sensitive we become. Also the comparison - if the societal trend is to not nurture empathy is our behaviour a variance or something that stands alone and is unique.

Bless Mel - I loved his no bs videos. You guys and him were the only people I stuck with for advice and perspective of lived twin flame experience. Man the late 2010’s and the blow up of so called twin flame gurus was a wild time.

@Lee Patterson it does. I unfortunately got caught up in dangerous misinformation and have seen the fallout from others who experienced similar. Looking back now, it’s shocking how many ‘guides’ preyed on vulnerability of people looking for that connection which as we talk about here has to start from connection to self. If anything apart from losing money, sanity and for some end up in court, all their ‘guidance’ did was help steer them off course.
