WELCOME TO PURE SKOOL Hey beautiful souls — I AM Joby Founder of Pure Fascia & Breathwork, Pure Academy, and this Pure Community. You’re here for a reason. And so am I. My journey didn’t begin with healing — it began with pain. Near-death experiences. Trauma. Accidents. Years of searching for truth. Then one night, everything changed. Through Breathwork, I experienced a complete shift in consciousness — a moment where years of tension dissolved and one truth became crystal clear: The power to heal has always been within us. That moment changed my life. FROM BREATH… TO FASCIA… TO FREEDOM After guiding thousands through Breathwork, I was introduced to Human Garage Fascial Maneuvers — and it felt like discovering the missing piece of the puzzle. I used to think nothing could match the power of Breathwork. Then my first Fascial Maneuver session happened. That night, I felt 10+ years of stored trauma leave my body. Honestly — it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. (Yes, I even wrote about it in my book Pure Breathwork — available on Amazon… shameless plug 😄) What I realised was this: Most of the “weight” we carry in the body isn’t physical. It’s emotional energy that was never released. That trapped energy becomes pain. Then inflammation. Then illness. The body isn’t broken — it’s communicating. What if instead of saying “I’m broken”, we said: “I’m safe. I’m ready. I’m letting go.” This work isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about remembering who you are. The body is intelligent. The breath is the bridge. Awareness is the key. Hi, my name is Eric from the Seattle area. I have limited actual practice in breath work, though I have many books on it. I have almost no experience with fascia beyond some myofascial release massages. Quick background why/what I'm hoping for, because I've tried so many things: Childhood trauma, overcoming addiction, multiple car accidents (a dozen? Lost count) Living with guilt of the past Have OCD, never diagnosed, but I do the count thing and double, triple, quadruple check certain things Have had chronic pain throughout my body since my teens Last car accident in 2018 caused serious back issues that have subsided, but has left me with chronic insomnia since then. This exacerbates my constant, but lower level depression and anxiety. Edit to add: I also have brain fog and tinnitus. It's so normal now I forgot until late last night I bought and tried the Human Garage 28 day challenge yesterday and during martial arts last night, my body felt worse with a burning sensation throughout my body and joints aching more than usual. What I want is for something to work/ help me and I was hoping this would. Question: when first starting this, can we feel worse? Thank you
