If you have been thinking about trying some new peptides, let me dissuade you! What?? The owner of this community is going to talk about how peptides don't actually work? Kinda. So for the past 4-6 weeks I have been running a couple new peptides. The most notable additions have been Tirzepatide and KLOW (KPV, BPC+TB, GHK) . I have also been running peptides that I have used in the past, Adamax and MT1. Aaaand I can confidently say that I will be shrinking my stack again. First lets start with the positive experience, Tirzepatide. The only reason I switched to this over Retatrutide is because I had a sneaky suspicion that Reta was wrecking my sleep. I have run Reta multiple times this past year and the first time I didnt have the best experience but the 2nd time was AMAZING, check my 50 Day Transformation pinned. However, when I stopped Reta after my transformation I noticed that my sleep got significantly better. So my thinking was that the same receptor in Reta that raises your BMR was also messing with my sleep. I switched to Tirzeptatide the past month or so and my sleep has been great! Some days I actually get 90+ on my sleep score according to my smart watch which is pretty much unheard of for me. Obviously take that with a grain of salt but its something measurable considering while I was taking Reta it was like 60. I'll be honest though, this past week I have had some sleep issues again but I think thats because I have been in a calorie deficit for the past 4 weeks again. Oops. THAT BEING SAID, if I was in a major fat loss phase I would still prefer Reta. Now the next one I added was KLOW and unfortunately I am probably just going to drop this one. I am not saying it doesn't work because obviously the individual components can be AMAZING for specific purposes... BPC+TB for healing, GHK for skin... and KPV idk haha. But my thought is that the blend kinda minimizes the ability to up the dose on certain compounds. Its like the saying jack of all trades is a master of none. My shoulder/hernia bothers me and I was hoping running KLOW would help but I guess it doesn't produce miracles nor am I doing physical therapy right now anyway so the low dose KLOW didn't seem to help. GHK, I have already been doing a long time so any benefits I have gotten have already been seen and KPV I simply just didn't notice anything. So, moving forward, if I wanted to simply do healing for an injury I would just run Wolverine Blend (BPC + TB) and I am dropping KLOW for just GHK. I honestly don't know what I was expecting from KPV because I am not a very "inflamed" person anyway haha but just wanted to test it! Also, I don't think I am a fan of running BPC+TB indefinitely.
