Prologues
Apropos nothing: prologues are very much the fashion, based on what I've seen lately. Do we have any thoughts on this?

I have a prologue in my second book but not my first. The reason is one of need, and my first book didn't need one. My second book involves a murder in the 1920s that results in a contemporary murder in the same building. The investigation of the latest murder uncovers a sealed up room with the older victim in it. The prologue sets the hook.
