Daily Writing Ritual ✍️
So, this time around writing a book, I've found a heck of a lot more inner blocks that have come up! The book that I'm writing at the moment is emotionally draining! 😞 I feel like my energy is being sucked out some of the days when I'm working on it. This wasn't this intense when I wrote my other books. 📚 Since I've had a lot of days where I avoided writing or working on my book, I've now found some great tools that help me! For instance, turning writing into a ritual! ✍️ Now, before I start writing or working on my book daily, I do the same routine. 🔥 First off, around the same time, I go to the place that I've turned into my writing nook (my office space). 🔥 I stare up at my why that I printed out and put on the wall. 🔥 Then, I light a candle. 🔥 After that, I take three deep breaths. 🔥 Some days I play calming music. 🔥 Lastly, I put my hand on my heart and I say, "I'm here. I'm ready." I can see that this has a huge impact on me getting into a good mindset to write, even when the story feels like it's going to shatter my heart into a million pieces!! What do YOU do to help you stay consistent with writing? 📕 If you don't do anything yet, you can use mine, modify it or make it more your own!! ❤️ We are here to help one another with the writing process! ✍️

What’s your WHY?? 🔥📚
Now, writing can be difficult. 😣 But what can help you stay with it is remembering your why. This can help you during those tough times. It can also drive you forward. So, share your why that gives you the spark to share your story! ✍️ Then, tell us about your story! 📖

@Dani Rosenblad James thank you! I really like poetry and short stories. I kind of process my life in that way

The Book Begins – Call with Dani
Writing a book has been a dream of mine since childhood. It’s on my Fucketlist for a reason, I have so many ideas, but I’ve never had the confidence to take the next step. So, they just bounce around in my head while I keep saying "someday." Dani changed that. She reminded me that every story deserves to be told—and that someone out there needs to read mine. Her sincerity and belief in me took away so much of my fear. By the end of our call, I signed a contract with myself: I will have a completed manuscript by March 20, 2026. One year to write my book! 📖✨ I’m starting with just 15 minutes a day to build the habit, then ramping up after my race in May. No more excuses. This is happening. And if I don’t finish? Well… let’s just say my hair might not make it. 😳✂️
