What should I do?
Hey, Coach.... if i only have 3 days per week I can run (the others are weight lifting) and my goal is pace consistency, which 3 workouts would you say I should do?

This is exciting Vee! Way to go into a new year. My tip: The run always feels better, Stronger, if you warm up first! Dont make your first mile the warm up
Workouts are out! Begin on Monday
Monday- 30-45 minutes at an easy pace Tuesday- 10 minutes easy, 3x6 minutes at a steady pace, 5-10 minutes easy Wednesday- 25-40 minutes at easy, 4-6 x 20 sec strides at fast pace (recover in between each repeat) Thursday- 10 minutes easy, 4x2 minutes at 5k feel (your pace in 5k in the 2nd mile or 3rd km), 5- 10 easy Friday- 20 minutes easy pace Saturday- Local 5k race or 5k time trail, if in first 4 weeks of training do 30-45 minutes easy Sunday- Day off or easy 20-30 minutes

This is great!
The struggles of a runner
what's something you struggle with as a runner? consistency, speed, fuel, sleep, racing mentality? It's important to recognize this as a runner to know how to make necessary changes. Now obviously we aren't looking for perfection and that's the beauty of this sport; there are always goals to chase. Recognizing the struggles can then help you chase that goal you've been dreaming of.
