🤸 If You Could Master ONE Calisthenics Skill in the Next 6 Months, Which Would You Choose?
Imagine you could focus on one skill for the next six months and finally get it down. What would be your target? 🔥 Planche — incredible straight-arm strength and body control. 💪 Front Lever — mastering a strong horizontal hold. 🙌 Handstand — balance, control, and shoulder stability. 🚀 Muscle-Up — combining pulling power with a smooth transition. I think one of the most interesting parts of calisthenics is how different the journey is for everyone. Some people progress quickly with static holds, while others are better at dynamic movements. The key is finding a progression that matches your current level and staying consistent without rushing into skills you're not ready for. For tracking progress, Google Sheets can help you record hold times and reps, while Notion is useful for organizing training goals. If you enjoy sharing your journey and connecting with online communities, Floment.ai is another platform worth exploring. Which skill are you chasing right now, what's your current level, and what's the biggest obstacle stopping you from achieving it?

Skills?
How rewarding is training skills actually? Like some people train calisthenics purely for muscle growth and over strength but not train straight arm skills. I've been training planche ans front lever like før 480 days and I have progressed but not that that much and sometimes I feel I would like to focuse mainly in hypertrophy and basic strength. What are your thoughts?

@Lucas Torres You're welcome, Lucas! Keep enjoying the process and don't be afraid to adjust your focus as your goals change. Consistency matters, and training should be something you look forward to, not something that feels like a chore.

Celebrate Every Step Toward Your First Big Skill
Whether you're working toward your first muscle-up, a clean handstand, a front lever, or a planche, progress doesn't always happen overnight. Sometimes, the biggest achievement is holding a position a few seconds longer or getting one cleaner rep than last week. Here are a few ways to track and celebrate your progress: - Google Sheets – record your reps, hold times, sets, and rest periods so you can compare your performance from week to week. - Notion – keep a training journal with workout notes, personal milestones, and goals for your next session. - Google Photos – save progress videos to compare your handstand balance, lever position, or muscle-up technique over time. - YouTube – study skill progressions and technique breakdowns to understand the movements you're working toward. - Strong – log workouts and monitor your sets, reps, and strength-training progress. - Floment – another platform to explore for sharing ideas and connecting with online communities. One thing worth remembering: progress isn't always adding more reps or unlocking a new skill. Better form, improved control, and more consistent training are wins too. Celebrate them while giving your body enough recovery to adapt. What's your latest calisthenics win? Did you unlock a new skill, increase your hold time, improve your form, or finally achieve a personal record? Share it below — every milestone counts!

Advice
You dont need to be perfect to start You should try to get better and get closer to perfect after you started the journey.

@Just A Guy Glad we're on the same page. I think having a clear long-term goal while focusing on small daily actions makes the process much easier to stick with. The consistency we build along the way is what makes the bigger goal achievable.
