What are you going to do with your CustomGPTs?
So now that the initial disappointment has worn off - I'm curious what youll be doing with any CustomGPTs you currently offer clients or your audience? Will you: - Rebuild them on RadGenius or Pickaxe? - Vibe-code them into apps on Lovable or Claude? - Turn them into sharable Skills? - Or retire them and move on? Here's what I'm doing: - some GPTs are being retired for products I no longer wish to offer - some GPTs have already been turned into Skills for my students in the SoloExpert OS program Then there are the GPTs that have brought in thousands of leads over the past two years... I'm probably going to offer them as Skills and not stress out over it. The reason primarily is that I don't want to pay API fees on products I give out for free. That is losing money. So - do you have any great ideas? I'm all ears!

I think turning the successful GPTs into Skills sounds like a smart move, especially if they’ve already proven they can bring in leads. It seems better to keep the ones that are still useful and evolve them rather than rebuilding everything from scratch just because the platform is changing. I’d probably look at which GPTs are actually being used and generating results first, then decide whether they should become Skills, apps, or something else. The API cost is definitely something I’d keep in mind too, especially for free tools. What makes you decide which ones are worth keeping versus retiring? 😊
Custom GPTs
I’ve heard today that Custom GPTs may be being phased out/deprecated, although the exact timeline and what this means for existing GPTs seems a bit unclear. I love them, and being able to build little tools for clients has been game changing, particularly because I can give people something genuinely useful without essentially handing over all of the knowledge and thinking behind it on a plate. Is this something the team could perhaps do something around, or have you already covered it somewhere and I just couldn’t find it? I’m particularly interested in what people are thinking about client-facing GPTs, rather than ones we’ve built for ourselves. For my own stuff, moving to another tool or using an API isn’t really an issue. But when you’re giving GPTs to clients or members, that’s quite different. One of the big advantages at the moment is that they use the GPT through their own ChatGPT account, rather than me having to fund their usage through API calls. I’d love to know what other people who use Custom GPTs in this way are thinking. Are you just carrying on for now, or are you starting to look at other ways of delivering them if things do change?

Yeah, I can see why that would be a concern, especially for client-facing GPTs. I’m still keeping an eye on how things develop and experimenting with other ways to package AI tools and workflows, so it’s good to hear how others are adapting too.
I should've listened to Wendy sooner
OMG Wendy, so today I created my first AI Director (Marketing) in preparation for our Sprint next month and HOLY COW. First of all, you made it so stinking easy to create. I can't believe I slept this long on it. I got mired down thinking it would take at least a week, but nope. Easy peasy. AND with just that one director up and running, I now have a launch plan, sales page copy, and 2 sales emails written and ready! I cannot believe how easy that was. And I don't feel like it sounds AI-ish. I really feel like after a couple riffs back and forth, my director really made it sound like messaging that I would sit down and write myself, in one-bajillionth of the time. Thank you! See you for the sprint! (To everyone else, if you're not in the sprint, get in here!).

That’s a huge win! 🙌 It’s crazy how much faster things can move once you have the right AI setup in place. Getting a launch plan, sales page, and emails ready from one director sounds like a really useful workflow.
How Business & Team accounts work in Claude/ChatGPT
On my private training call today with my Solo Expert OS students, somebody asked me this question: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗚𝗣𝗧? Here's the answers and it may be helpful to you if you're considering upgrading or adding a {human} team member to your account: 1️⃣ 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐆𝐏𝐓: You can share a Project with people in your workspace and give them either Chat access or Edit access. Chat access lets them work inside the Project and see its chats, files, and instructions. Edit access additionally lets them change instructions, upload/remove files, and invite others. This is important: once a Project is shared, it uses project-only memory automatically. ChatGPT can use the chats, files, and instructions inside that Project, but it does not pull in each person's private memories or context from outside that Project. One distinction: Business workspace ≠ one giant shared brain. Each person still has their own ChatGPT usage inside the workspace. The shared Project is the common brain/context you deliberately give everyone access to. A Business workspace itself has its own members, settings, and resources, while users can also maintain a separate personal workspace if they choose. ---------------------------------- 2️⃣ 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐞: Claude Team handles Projects in a very similar way, but there are a couple of differences that I think actually make Claude especially interesting for the system you're building. With a Claude Team account, everyone belongs to the same Claude organization. Projects live inside that organization, and when you create one you can make it either private or available to the broader organization. You can also share a private Project with specific team members.

This is really helpful, especially the part about the shared Project being the common context rather than everyone having one shared brain. I’m also curious how this compares with using tools like Floment AI when managing projects and workflows across a team.
