Nobody tells you this about building a nursepreneur life…
I thought leaving full-time nursing (or building income outside bedside) would feel like instant freedom. Real talk? It still comes with doubt, slow days, and moments where you question everything. But it also comes with something I never want to lose again… control over my time and income. If you’re in the messy middle right now, you’re not behind — you’re building.

Pro`s and cons to every decision - Hang in there, breath and keep your focus. Always remember why you are doing it. 💜💥
it’s a general store, but also a very specific store…
how it feels when you’re first starting your business as a nurse coach: https://youtu.be/66ydShvBPYI I looove schitt’s creek and always think back to this scene when I’m trying to describe my business/coaching 😂 TG for Nursepreneur Lab & this community! 🫶🏼 (& CATALYST!!!)

FUNNY 🤪
Hallo everyone
I am new here and looking forward to learning from and supporting everyone. I am a 61 yr old SA nurse who has spend most my career working night shift and in peads. loving every minute of it. Facing retirement and with this new world and our kids scattered all over the world I also have a son and new grandson in the UK. When I planned my pension way back then I never thought It would have to include some very expensive plane tickets. But as they say - where there is a will there is a way - I had my will and I found my way. So here I am learning stuff I never dreamed of. Thank you for excepting me into the community.

It is awkward for everyone to start I think. I always pretend I am talking to my best friend and I used to do all the ums and ams and you knows and then just cut it out until I can now do it without all of it. Keep practicing. You`ve got this. 🚀
Currently wrapped in a blanket and refusing to move 🤒
You cannot pour from an empty cup. Nurses are the first ones to tell patients to rest, slow down, drink water, take their medicine, and the last ones to do it for themselves. Had to be forced off my feet today to remember that I am not exempt from needing rest. And neither are you. Your finances, your patients, your family… none of it works better when you are running on empty. So today's question is simple 👇 What is ONE thing you do (or wish you did) to actually take care of yourself? No judgment. Rest counts. Netflix counts. Sleeping in counts. Drop it below let's normalize nurses taking care of nurses. 💚

I am new here and already love this community. I am from SA and live in a small coastal town in the Western Cape. I look after myself by swimming (actually more of a poodle puddle waddle in the water) almost every day when I am off. There is just something about being in the water at 5h30 or 6h30 and waiting for the sun to come up. In that moment I am just I am.... and many mornings I am just alone as well.
