📣 NEW INSIDE GROW YOUR BAKERY
I just added a brand-new lesson: Build Trust Before Trouble: Educate Your Community Before They Question Your Business We often use educational content to show customers that we know how to bake—but are we also showing them that we know how to operate a responsible food business? Many customers still don’t understand what a cottage bakery is, what we’re legally allowed to sell, or what happens behind the scenes to keep their food properly handled, labeled, stored, and protected. If we don’t answer those questions, people may fill in the blanks themselves—and not always in our favor. Inside this lesson, you’ll learn: - Why trust-building content matters - What your community may not understand about cottage food - How to educate customers without sounding defensive - Which behind-the-scenes practices can become valuable content - What information to share—and what should remain private - How to establish authority as both a baker and a responsible business owner - Seven specific content ideas with opening hooks you can use There’s also an action step at the end to help you create your first piece of trust-building content this week. You can find Build Trust Before Trouble inside the free Grow Your Bakery section now. Once you’ve read it, come back and tell me: Which trust-building post are you going to create first?

🍪 NEW FREE RECIPE DROP: Cookie Butter Banana Bread
Okay, y’all… this one is GOOD. I’ve officially added my Cookie Butter Banana Bread to the FREE Recipe Index inside Bakers Insider! We’re talking banana bread loaded with warm cookie butter flavor, bourbon vanilla, a cookie butter swirl, and then topped with a ridiculous amount of Cookie Butter Big Fat Streusel and a cookie butter drizzle. Basically… banana bread has entered its ✨boujie era.✨ And here’s what I really want you to notice with this recipe: you don’t always need an entirely new recipe to create an entirely new product. This started with the same basic banana bread formula I already know works. We changed the flavor profile, played with the mix-ins, developed a matching streusel, changed the presentation—and suddenly we have something completely different that could easily become a premium fall menu item. The banana bread recipe itself is FREE in the Recipe Index, so go grab it and play! And if you make it—or ANY recipe from inside Bakers Insider—please post your pictures here in the community! I want this space to become somewhere we can actually see what everyone is creating, share ideas, troubleshoot together, and inspire each other. 👉 Head to the Recipe Index → Cookie Butter Banana Bread And then come back and tell me: Would you sell this one? And if so… what would YOU charge for it?

@Stacy Urban Foe real!
🧁 SHOW ME YOUR TWO.
I want to see TWO things from you today. Picture #1: THE ONE YOU’RE MOST PROUD OF. I don't care if you made it yesterday or 12 years ago. Maybe it was technically perfect. Maybe it was the first thing you ever sold. Maybe you tried something way outside your comfort zone and actually pulled it off. Whatever your reason is—show me the baked item you've made that makes you think, “Yep. I did THAT.” Then... Picture #2: THE ONE YOU LOVE. Not your bestseller. Not the prettiest thing you've ever made. Not what your customers ask for. What do YOU love to eat? What's the thing you'll make even when nobody is paying you to make it? The dessert you'll make for your own birthday, hide the last piece of, or stand at the kitchen counter eating straight out of the pan? 😂 Drop both pictures in the comments and tell us which is which: 🏆 MOST PROUD OF: ❤️ MY FAVORITE: I have a feeling these are going to be two VERY different desserts for some of us. 😂 And I can't wait to see them. P.S. There is no skill-level requirement here. If the thing you're most proud of is the first batch of cookies you made that didn't spread into one giant cookie—I want to see those cookies. ❤️

@Denise Heinemann I used pistachio cream for Dubai truffles and candy bars. It is pricey. I have never made my own but butter of any kind. Can’t wait to see how your comes out!

🌱 WHAT IS THE GROW YOUR BAKERY MODULE?
You didn’t start a bakery because you dreamed of becoming a content creator, marketer, salesperson, photographer, pricing expert, and business strategist. But suddenly, you’re expected to wear all of those hats—and figure everything out as you go. That’s exactly why I created Grow Your Bakery. This module focuses on the business side of your home bakery. Inside, you’ll find practical lessons designed to help you: • Build a stronger foundation for your business • Understand what your customers actually want • Create products and offers that are easier to sell • Market your bakery with more purpose • Make your content work harder for you • Improve your sales without feeling pushy • Set boundaries and make confident business decisions • Spend less time guessing what to do next These aren’t long, overwhelming business classes filled with complicated terminology. They’re straightforward, actionable lessons created specifically for home bakers. You can read one lesson, choose one thing to implement, and begin improving your bakery right away. And Grow Your Bakery is not a finished course that will sit untouched. It is a growing resource library, which means I’ll continue adding new lessons based on the questions, struggles, and opportunities I see inside the home-bakery world. Recipes give you something to make. Grow Your Bakery helps you turn what you make into an actual business. 📍You’ll find the complete module inside the Classroom—and it is included with your FREE Baker’s Insider membership.

My business is more relationship based selling. As a boutique bakery I have a specific target market. I don’t really get sales off my actual Facebook or social media. It is more like a portfolio that people go to few my products. However I would like to do more posting in community groups. I don’t run promotions that have discounts. I am extra something for free. Which module would best help with that?
SEPTEMBER CONTENT RESET 🍂
Okay, we’re already a week into September… and maybe your bakery content has been a little nonexistent. That’s okay. We’re not starting over. We’re starting NOW. I put together a September Content Reset to take some of the “What the heck am I supposed to post today?” off your plate. Each week gives you a mix of: 💡 Tips — give your audience something useful 🧁 Product — remind people what you actually sell 💬 Engage — get your audience talking 👀 BTS — let them see the person and process behind the bakery 💰 Sell — actually ask for the order ⭐ Social Proof — let your customers help sell for you 📚 Educate — help customers understand your products and their value And no, this does not mean you HAVE to post seven days a week. Use all seven. Pick four. Pick three. Pick two on the same day! The goal is simply to stop staring at Facebook thinking “I have no idea what to post” and start showing up with a little more intention. I’ll be dropping the rest of September here so we can finish the month strong together. 💜 Let’s reset. September isn’t over yet.
