My first knit sweater and the lesson I learned
Some of you wanted to see the finished sweater, so here it is! I finished it on New Years Eve and have already had the chance to wear it.🧚🏼 I learned a lot in the process, but there is one thing I am particularly proud of - I didn't make it hard on myself. There was a part in the pattern where I could have done German Short Rows (they improve the fit around the neck), but as this was my first sweater I opted for the simple version and skipped the short rows. Normally I would be the one who does all the extra assignements and details, but this time I didn't want to overwhelm myself. I am really proud about that.🥰 I have already started my second sweater. Same pattern, but this time, I tried the short rows! It didn't feel overwhelming this time, because I already understood how a sweater is knit. I will also change colors to make stripes on this sweater. Takeaway - slow and steady keeps the joy and fun in the process💫 Doing everything at once will just add unnecessary stress!

✨ This Morning’s Sip & Spark ✨
Today we explored ONE word that embodies your highest self then drew a version of you that holds that energy. Thank you @Ingmar Mareen @Cathy Sue Carpenter @Jay Hanan @Ermanno Rosati for coming to connect. We also talked about rage, how it’s not something to suppress, but something to safely move through using creativity as the container. Marks, colour, breath, movement… letting the energy flow instead of holding it in. ✨ Updates: • Sip & Spark will have an alternate PM time for January (check the calendar) • All prompts are now shared inside Soul Spark → Creative Practices If you missed it, the invitation is still open: Drop your word. Draw yourself becoming. 💛

Wow 💯 members!
First of all…. A massive Thank you 🤍 When I first began, I never imagined this many people would feel called to reconnect with themselves through art. This community only started in September, and already we’re celebrating 100 members TODAY! Each human choosing presence, creativity, and inner trust. I’m deeply grateful to walk this journey with you. Your openness, courage, and willingness to show up as you are is what makes this space what it is. If you know one person who might benefit from a gentle, creative place like this, feel free to invite them in. No promotion just connection :) Thank you for being here. Thank you for showing up as you are. This journey is just beginning 🤍✨

Textile arts and loneliness🕯️✨
I learned how to knit and crochet when I was about 5. At some point in my teenage years I stopped it and this year I have returned to creating with yarn again. This is my first attempt at knitting a sweater. It was such an intimidating project to take on and I am surprised at how easy it actually has been! I am hoping it will fit well and I will get lots of use out of it. PS the little pillow next to it is a crochet project I did this September. I felt lonely tonight knitting by myeslf. Everybody is spending time with family (I couldn't travel this time), so even a phone call is not really an option. I wanted to share my WIP to remind myself that I am not the only one creating something on my own. And through that I feel connected with all the sensitive souls staying indoors with their creations tonight🕯️

@Ingmar Mareen Thank you:) I finished the sweater on New Years Eve. Yesterday I blocked it and today I finally have the truly finished product! I will make a post with the final result very soon ☺️
Finding calmness
Having a beautiful time, both of us painting in the same block of paper while listening to calm piano music. It is all about the calm, not the result 🥰. My soul needed this today ❤️
