👋 Hi, I’m Eletise!
Hi my name is Eletise Niumata. I live in San Francisco, CA and I plan on making $5,000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: 1. Learn how to start dispatching with finding loads. 2.  Booking loads. 3. And assigning loads. For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1. I love to clean and sanitize my living space.  2. I love to read and write.  3. I love to go to school- I take two online classes. I’m excited for the classroom in this community. Its nice to meet every one of you guys. Good luck on your path to success! You got this! ♥️ Eletise P.S. What dispatching skill do you want/hope you gain, achieve, or improve from this Truck Dispatching Community?

Omar, welcome. Your goals are strong and clear. Wanting to make $70k a month shows you think big and you’re ready to work. North Texas is a busy area too, so you’re in a good spot for trucking. I like how you listed the three things you want from this course — learning the full dispatch flow, building confidence with carriers, and making steady money. That’s the right mindset. And it’s cool that you enjoy family time, learning new business skills, and music. All of that helps you stay calm and focused while you grow your dispatch business. What part of dispatching do you want to learn first? Do you want to start with one carrier or try to get a few? What kind of trucks do you want to dispatch when you begin?
one step closer :)
I just got my LLC & EIN! next step truck.ai 🥰 I'm so excited, I'm going to be like "you have product that needs to be moved? we're ON THE WAY (dispatch)"
one step closer :)

Dena, this is a big step. Getting your LLC and EIN feels like the moment when your dream turns into a real thing. It shows you’re serious and ready to move forward. Truck.ai is a good next move too, because it helps you stay organized and look professional. I love your energy — “you have product that needs to be moved? we’re ON THE WAY” — that’s the kind of spirit that makes people trust you. You’re building your business piece by piece, and you’re doing it with excitement, not fear. That’s strong. What part of the setup made you feel the most proud? Are you planning to start with one carrier first, or jump in and get more? What kind of loads do you want to move when you start dispatching?
Truckers are simple creatures
At the end of the day from my experience , drivers just want to know if you can help them succeed or not and how… The biggest lesson Ive learned is finding out what the person you’re selling to wants and convincing them that you’re the best path to helping them get it and worth the price you charge .. That’s what success is to me 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Quentin, this is real talk. And I love your name! Very unique! Drivers just want to know if you can help them win. If you can make their life easier, keep them moving, and help them make good money, they will rock with you. I like how you said it’s about finding what the person wants and showing them you’re the best path to get it. That’s simple but powerful. A lot of people try to sound fancy, but you kept it straight and honest. That’s why it works. When you understand the driver, the sale feels natural, not forced. What do you think drivers care about the most — money, trust, or clear talk? Do you feel like hotshot drivers act different from big‑rig drivers? What’s one thing you do that helps drivers trust you fast?
Starting Part-Time Before Going Full-Time?
Hi everyone, I recently completed the free Dispatcher University course, and it's really sparked my interest in truck dispatching. A little about me: I'm a software engineering manager, so my background is in building software, automation and systems rather than trucking or sales. I'm curious about those of you who are now successful dispatchers or own dispatch companies. Is it realistic to start this part-time while keeping a full-time job, then transition once the business is generating consistent income? Or does dispatching require full-time attention from day one? I'd love to hear how you got started, when you hired help (if you did), and any advice you'd give someone in my position. Thanks!

Gulam, this is a good question. A lot of people start dispatching part‑time while they keep their full‑time job. It can work because you can learn the steps slowly and build your skills without pressure. Dispatching does take focus, but you don’t always need full‑time hours on day one. Many people start with one carrier, learn the flow, then add more when they feel ready. Your software background is a big help too, because dispatching uses systems, tools, and simple workflows. You can build your own way of doing things that fits your schedule. When the money becomes steady, that’s when most people move to full‑time. You’re asking smart questions, and you’re already thinking ahead. What kind of schedule do you want for part‑time dispatching? Do you want to start with one carrier first, or try to get two? What part of dispatching feels the easiest for you so far?
