Let's Welcome Jessica! 🎉
Welcome, @Jessica Cosci ! We're so glad you're here. Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot that our conversations in @Yvonne Green Yvonne's community led you here. Your goal of helping members feel confident enough to start conversations themselves is one we're passionate about exploring. I think you'll find a lot of kindred spirits here. Looking forward to learning together!🫂

The last few weeks have taught me a lot, but something crystallized for me today that I want to write down while it's fresh. The thing that seems to help people most isn't being told what to do. It's building alongside them. I keep noticing that when someone hears "do this, it will work," they tense up. It becomes one more instruction, one more way to possibly get it wrong. But when the message is "let's try this and see what happens," something loosens. The pressure comes off. There's room to experiment, to fail a little, to adjust. And strangely, that lower-pressure approach seems to produce more progress, not less, because people actually move when they're not afraid of doing it wrong. I saw a version of this today that stayed with me. Someone who has been carrying a lot of quiet anxiety about their community, wondering if it's working, whether they're doing it right, described finally feeling relaxed. Not because everything is finished. Not because they hit some big number. Just because they've stopped white-knuckling it and started trusting the process they're building. That shift, from anxious to relaxed, might not look like much from the outside. But it's one of the most real outcomes I've seen all month. A person who can breathe in their own community will keep going. A person who is bracing will burn out. So, here's what I'm taking from today... Our job might be less about handing people the right answer and more about creating a space where they feel safe enough to find it. You don't push someone into confidence. You make the room feel safe, and confidence grows on its own. Still thinking on this one. But it felt worth writing down. I would love to know... Where in your own community have you felt yourself start to relax? Or where are you still bracing a little? No need to have it figured out. I'm just curious where each of you finds yourself.

So interesting reading this. And I believe it´s true. We put so much pressure on finding the right ticket to monetize and we receive generic advice because the advice is to sell the same thing to many not personalized coaching. And most of the times, we just need someone to tag along.

Let's Welcome Oddysey! 🎉
@Oddysey Campbell welcome to Skoolology! 💙 We're so glad you're here. We love your goal of making your first sale from your own work while building a community along the way. That's exactly the kind of journey we enjoy studying together. Also... around here we believe every great community is built one conversation at a time... and one avocado at a time. 🥑😂 (Don't worry. The avocado joke will make sense soon if it doesn't already. 😄) Jump in wherever you'd like. We're happy you're here!
