Amazon will continually kick back the application if there is ANY discrepancies. Incorrect birthdate, bank statement not matching address…or outdated passport. If they are kicking it back it is because there is something is not up to date or something isn’t matching…Be sure to slow down and input all the information correctly. This will slow down the verification and selling opportunities.

I’m trying to understand Amazon FBM shipping costs and wondering if I may need to adjust my shipping template. I recently shipped a 7 oz item in a bubble mailer to a nearby state for about $5, which seemed reasonable. The next day, I sold the exact same 7 oz item, also shipped in a bubble mailer, to a state only one state farther away, but the shipping cost was around $9. What confuses me even more is that I’ve previously shipped a 2 lb item in a box to one of the farthest states for about $10. Why would a lightweight 7 oz package in a bubble mailer going to a relatively close state cost almost the same as shipping a 2 lb package in a box across the country? Could this be related to: - my shipping template settings, - delivery promises/transit times, - carrier selection, - or something else?
