Alaafia Everyone! Great Rising on this Sunday Morning! I wanted to drop a new post and invite our new members to introduce themselves. Temple of the Tides is a place to learn yourself deeper. It is a place to connect with your Ori or Higher self, and it is a place of community and care. I created Temple of the Tides, as I have been practicing and studying various versions of Ifa for the last 6 years, with a lifetime to go. I am currently focusing on Isese and will be Initiating as an Iyanifa. Part of my mission is share the information that I obtain. To help folks who are journeying back to themselves, and to assist people who are searching for a deeper meaning to their life. No I am not going to tell you your purpose. I am going to help you figure it our for yourself. I will help you in whatever way I can and in the ways that spirit allows. I am the messenger. In our Classroom you will find a PDF Library. This library contains pdf books that can be helpful on your journey. Also, in our classroom is a Free Self-Love Course. I will be launching the Ancestral Veneration Course as well for $22. And the Calendar. Our Calendar has the Ose days on it daily. I am not going Live, although it says live. Ose Days are the days when we honor the Orisa. The days rotate every 4 days. If you have your Hand of Ifa or higher, or a devotee, you give offerings on the Ose Days for the Orisa you are honoring. There you also find the weekly Ifa Call. You can attend we ask that if you come to the call, that you engage as an exchange of energy. The Call is hosted by Ifa Ejiogbe Egbe Community with Awo Baba Aye Wunle and Iyanifa IfeTayo and Myself, Priestess Ifasebee. UPCOMING Before the noise, before the doubt, before the fear and overthinking, your Ori was present. Ori is your divine consciousness, your inner compass, and the spiritual intelligence that governs your destiny, clarity, and decision-making. These sessions are dedicated to lectures, teachings, and foundational information. This is where we build knowledge, understanding, and spiritual literacy together.Please come prepared with your camera on (unless you are driving), your spirit open, and your Book of Shadows ready to take notes and capture insights. ✨ Bi-Weekly Lab & Ritual CallEvery other week, we will hold a bi-weekly working call led by me. These gatherings are experiential in nature and may include labs, discussion, guided ritual, or applied spiritual work. This is a more intimate container for embodiment, practice, and integration of what we are learning. Both calls work together: one to teach, one to activate. ✨ In-person Ceremonies are woven into the fabric of this mentorship. They are opportunities to root yourself deeper in practice and connection. These include the Eleke Ceremony, Sacred River Ritual, and Initiations, and cleansings which open the way for stronger bonds with your Ori, ancestors, and guides.

This week we entered the waters of Oshun, the Orisha of freshwater, love, beauty, fertility, wealth, pleasure, and emotional intelligence. Oshun teaches us that power does not come from forcing or chasing, it comes from alignment, receptivity, and discernment. Like the river, her medicine is gentle, steady, and transformative. Like the bee, she protects what is sacred. Spiritual & Energetic Associations: - Domain: Freshwater, love, fertility, wealth, emotional intelligence, manifestation - Elemental Quality: Flowing freshwater, moisture, sweetness - Direction: South / Southeast (varies by lineage) - Number: 5 - Day: Saturday / Friday - Colors: Gold, yellow, pink, peacock hues and white - Sacred Materials: Honey, river water, brass, gold, mirrors, fans, shells - Body Systems: Reproductive organs, womb, blood, lymph, fluids, skin Oshun governs the sweet waters of life, emotion, intimacy, creativity, and abundance. She teaches us how to: - Receive without guilt - Give without depletion - Set boundaries without bitterness - Trust divine timing Oshun asks us: “Are you flowing… or forcing?” The Lesson: Flow Without Self-Abandonment This week’s lesson focused on stopping the push and learning to listen for spirit’s timing. Oshun teaches: - Over-giving blocks abundance - Resentment dries up sweetness - Receiving is a spiritual practice When we give from overflow, the river stays full.When we give to earn love, the river floods or dries up. Alignment vs. Misalignment (Real-Life Reflection) When Oshun is in alignment: - You give from abundance, not obligation - You receive support, love, and resources with ease - Your emotions move freely without overwhelm - Your boundaries are clear and calm - Pleasure is embodied, not performed When Oshun is misaligned: - Over-giving leads to resentment - Caretaking becomes currency for love - Hyper-independence replaces community - Emotions are suppressed or weaponized - Sweetness becomes bitterness
