Iβve been talking with a lot of my old buddies (nba players, overseas players) and they are changing how they work on their shot. They use to go in the gym and just work on game shots and that was it but now they are focused on those same game shots but shooting them faster than they even would in games. Didnβt make sense to me at first but they all said the same thing. βThe more comfortable the got with fast shots in workouts the easier it was to slow it down in games and it became way easier for themβ So next time you are in a shooting workout try to really speed your shot up. If your mechanics and form start to fall off then you are shooting to fast but as fast as you can shoot the ball while maintaining your form and mechanics thatβs how I want you to work on your shot for the next few weeks and let me know what you think!
