strength work
I'm looking for some tips towards strength training. I currently don't do anything, don't go to the gym or anything and I'm kinda relying on my genetics, competitiveness and like semiconsistent pushups every day with barely consistent exercises my physio has given me. it might come as a surprise to some because of the language I use when I'm active, but for information that may help in other people answering, I'm a girl, roughly 15. the gap between what guys and girls need for training is not much but for guys, a higher vert is probably higher up the training list, whereas girls its probably not as high. so any tips, exercises, muscle groups etc would be helpful

Footwork is super important try a few of these things and this will help you out Jump rope.. 10-12 minutes a day will really help your footwork Ladder drills are very helpful Playing pick up and doing a lot of cuts and step backs will help you feel more comfortable with your footwork I’d do a combination of those things 3-4 times a week and your footwork will feel lighter and quicker

@Tab T for offense just work on straight line attacks to the basket starting at half court then starting at the 3point line If you're trying to do defense, just do defensive slides side to side in the paint, and then do them from the free throw line down to the block, back up to the free throw line, down to the block to do diagonal slides to work on opening your hips which simulates guarding a player attacking the basket
