Thoughtful Thursday
“Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.” — Oprah Winfrey It's funny how our minds work. We can have ten good things happen in a day and still spend most of our time thinking about the one thing that didn't go according to plan. Today, let's flip that script. Before you scroll on, pause for just a moment and think about this: What's one thing in your life right now that would have made you incredibly happy five years ago? Maybe it's a relationship. A friendship. A skill you've developed. A home. A pet.A job. A healthier mindset. Or simply the person you've become. Sometimes the best way to appreciate how far we've come is to look back and realize we once wished for what we have today. 🌈

I have a circular sander and angle sander that i didn't have 5 years ago and i am soooooo grateful for them. I used to do all the sanding by hand!!
🌞 Terrific Tuesday
The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.” — Marcus Aurelius Have you ever noticed that when you're looking for something, you tend to find more of it? If you're looking for problems, you'll find them.If you're looking for reasons to be frustrated, they're everywhere. But the opposite is true, too. When we start looking for moments of kindness, progress, beauty, laughter, opportunity, or gratitude, we begin to notice them more often. The good was there all along—we just trained our attention to see it. 💬 Today's challenge: Share one good thing you've noticed today. It can be something big or something wonderfully small: ☕ Great coffee 🌅 A beautiful sunrise 😊 A kind conversation 🐶 A wagging tail ✅ A small win Let's fill this thread with good things and remind each other that there's often more right in our lives than we realize. 🌈

Three little cardinals on the deck feeder when i woke early this morning were having their breakfast together just as happy as could be! Happy way to start the day!

Motivating Monday
“Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.” — James Clear Happy Monday, friends! 🌈 Can you believe we're already on Day 22 of our 44-Day Challenge? We're halfway there! For those who have been with us since Day 1, take a moment to appreciate yourself. You may not notice it every day, but those small, intentional choices are adding up. Habits are forming. Momentum is building. And if you're new here… Welcome! Here's the best part: You don't have to wait for the next challenge to begin. Your Day 1 can be today. Whether it's 11 minutes of meditation, journaling, creativity, setting an intention, or all four, every small step counts. There’s no perfect start date—only the decision to begin. Monday check-in: - If you've been doing the challenge, what's one positive change you've noticed so far? - If you're just getting started, what inspired you to join? No matter where you are on your journey, we're glad you're here. Let's keep showing up for ourselves—and for each other—one intentional day at a time. 💥

Soulful Sunday
“What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” — Helen Keller Today is Father's Day, and I know this day means something different to each of us. For some, it's a day of celebration. For others, it's a day of remembrance, longing, healing, or mixed emotions. Some are honoring incredible dads, while others are grateful for mentors, grandfathers, uncles, friends, or chosen family who stepped into that role. Wherever today finds you, I hope you know there's room for all of it here. 💬 I'd love to hear about someone—father or not—who made a positive difference in your life. What did they teach you that still stays with you today? Wishing peace, gratitude, and a little extra kindness to everyone today. 🌈

Ok so i know it's Monday and Father's day has passed but i will chime in on that one because yesterday was so filled with activities i didn't get the chance! So, for anyone who doesn't know Stephen and Michelle and my dad died a while back of ALS. Anyway, we all miss him and are always talking about him in one way or another but this came to my mind as i read the soulful Sunday post. Pop as we called him had a saying that has stuck with me my whole life, "You're only as happy as you make up your mind to be!" He would say that to us anytime we would let some circumstance or person seem to bring us down. It taught me that i was in charge of me not anything or anyone else! Tough to swallow at 7 or 8 but as we grew up started making more sense!!
🌟 Terrific Tuesday
“The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.” — Winston Churchill What if today you looked for what’s going right instead of what’s going wrong? We often notice red lights, delays, and problems—but there are green lights all around us too: a kind text, a good cup of coffee, a completed task, or an unexpected smile. 🧠 A little science: Our brains naturally pay more attention to negative events (called the negativity bias). Intentionally noticing positive moments helps balance that tendency and can improve mood and resilience over time. 💬 Check-in: Tell us about one “green light” you noticed today, no matter how small.
