🎨 Welcome to Katie Jarman Studio
Hi everyone, I'm so glad you're here 😊 Are you new to art, feeling creatively stuck, or unsure where to begin? You’re in the right place. Katie Jarman Art Studio is a welcoming space where beginners and hobby artists build skills and confidence, one simple step at a time. I’m Katie, a professional artist and qualified teacher with 20 years of experience. I’ve taught thousands of students (many of whom started by saying “I can’t draw a stick man”) and I promise you can learn to draw, paint and create with confidence. This community is a friendly and judgment free space where we: - Share our artwork and wins (even the messy ones) - Support each other with feedback and encouragement - Learn through small manageable steps - Take care of our well being one artwork at a time 🎁 If you’re new, here’s where to start: 1. Introduce yourself in the comments below and let us know what brought you here 2. Try the free Cupcake Mini Course https://www.skool.com/jarman-arts-7011/classroom/59f22e0b 3. Download your Elements of Art Bookmarks [coming soon] 4. Explore the Creative Boost Course, for 5 min creative projects https://www.skool.com/jarman-arts-7011/classroom/086526af All courses/ lessons are found in the classroom tab. You can post your artwork in the community. You don’t need talent to be here. Just curiosity, a pencil and a bit of courage. I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s draw, paint and create together. 💫Katie

Hi there! I’m a graphite and charcoal portrait artist who’s recently dipped my brushes into the world of oil painting. I experimented with watercolor and oils years ago, but now I’m happily re-learning oils with fresh eyes. It feels like a natural step from charcoal—the slower drying time and flexibility make it perfect for tweaking and refining as I go.
