@John Bascones Thank you for watching!
Door Hanger Advertising
Passed out 150 door hangers and got 4 new customers in our neighborhood. One month in and we have 8 customers so far. Long way to go, but making steady progress. 😎

Thank you for Sharing that! Great results. Definitely keep doing that. Other than free Google organic clicks, that might be the best Return On Investment on pool route marketing ever. lol
Billing Methodologies / 5 stops a month
Ok so it's end of month invoice time. In Skimmer I always look at the 'Profit" report to check my labor rates, # visits and chemical costs to see where I'm mostly winning and losing on some old accounts. Keep in mind I'm 4months into this biz so been heads down and growing and not thought thru everything yet :) Brings up a bigger question for me when I see 5 visits a month due to 5 Monday and Tuesdays like here in Sept. At 105 MRR stops now these things add up to considerable money. Monthly billing we think of 4 weeks a month but we know there's 52 weeks a year. How many of us have in our service agreements X number of weeks no service a year? How many do 4 week billing cycles (as I just heard a talk about that) Other methods? Or am I over thinking this?

Hey Todd, its good to think about these things because you're right, they will add up when you scale up. The way we had it to simplify things was to tell the customer they had basically 2 bonus visits per year. When in reality, you can lean on those two "bonus" visits if you or your tech missed a day due to illness or other issue (car broke down etc.). So I would explain it to the customer like this: there are 52 weeks per year, we get 2 weeks off (Thanksgiving week and Christmas week) and they get 2 bonus visits free throughout the year (unpaid visits in their mind). So basically if you miss one day a year (which happens sometimes), then you don't have to give them a refund for that day because they were "bonus" days anyway. So they get billed for 48 weeks (just standard monthly billing), we get 2 off, and 2 weeks (or 2 visits) are extra. It might not be the best way to max everything out, but it makes things simpler when an issue pops up. It's a better way of framing up the customer mindset and expectations. Puts them at ease. Also, because they get these 2 built-in extra visits already, it makes it easier to charge for one-off visits when storms happen or they have an event coming up and need an extra cleaning. You just tell them they are already getting freebies throughout the year. They will feel more inclined to pay when they think they are already winning at those other times. That was our approach and it seemed to really smooth out some of these small things and gave the customer a sense of winning or getting a deal.
