Restaurants
Hi everyone, I’m a very anxious person so having coeliac disease has been especially difficult as I can’t “people please” in restaurants any more. I was wondering if anyone had any advice of what I can say when I call a restaurant to ask them about their gluten free options? I’m the type of person who needs a script for everything so any advice would be much appreciated!

@Gemma Bradley I realised that my constant tiredness isn’t normal at 17 and it’s probably from being coeliac but other than that nothing really. I’ve only been diagnosed 2 months so I haven’t noticed any changes in how I feel yet either

@Gemma Bradley I was investigating iron, b12, and vitamin D deficiency when I found out. I think the vitamin D deficiency may be due to living in England though in my case
Coeliac diagnosis
Hi everyone has anyone else been diagnosed but never had a referral for a dietician or to have a bone scan? Just curious.

@Maddie Sones Can I ask why coeliacs should have a bone density scan?

@Maddie Sones thank you! I haven’t been told any of this by my doctors so thanks for letting me know
Do small amounts of gluten (crumbs) undo all intestine healing?
Hi I’m newly diagnosed, my doctors don’t know much about coeliac disease and I haven’t had my dietician appointment yet. I have been gluten free for two months now but accidentally ingested a very small amount of gluten yesterday, I always see TikTok’s about how even a crumb can damage our intestines so will that crumb of gluten undo my two months of recovery? Sorry if this is a silly question I just haven’t really been educated properly by my doctors.
