My 6-year-old and I are starting a new business! (Don't worry, my Squirrel Wrangler said it was ok! 😜) It’s called Olive & Grey, and we’re going to make and sell our art (starting on Etsy, then who knows). This started because Greyson and I have been making more art together, and he’s fascinated by the idea of selling it, and I realized… why not let him experience what it actually looks like to build something from an idea? Homeschool project! Because I’m building this one from absolute zero, I thought it would be fun to bring you behind the scenes and show you the actual business decisions as I make them: what I prioritize, what I skip, what works, what doesn’t, and why (lessons that are helpful for any kind of business). Basically, Olive & Grey is becoming our tiny real-life business case study.
