Your Business Deserves a Better Story — Start with This 6-Question Filter
Hey Guys, Picture this. You step into an elevator and standing beside you is the exact client, partner, or investor who could change everything. They turn. They ask: “So… what do you do?” Most business owners freeze. They ramble. They sound just like everyone else. And the door opens before they’ve said a single thing worth remembering. Today in the Builders Club, I worked with one of our members on his WOW Elevator Statement. For about 10 minutes, we hacked at it the old-fashioned way… and then I said screw it. Let’s build a prompt. That one shift turned a painful guessing game into a clear, repeatable process. Here’s the simple framework we used—answer these six and you’ll never stumble again: 1. What’s loveable about what you’re doing? (The solution should make the problem obvious) 2. Which big names or companies have you worked with? 3. What results in numbers can you share? 4. What’s the sentence you’d love to see in the media? 5. What else are you proud of? 6. How long have you been at this? Try it. You’ll be surprised how fast you can cut through the noise and land on something magnetic. What did you think? Could you answer these six in a way that makes someone lean in instead of looking at their phone? Well mine's 38 words but it's designed to interrupt their pattern, capture their attention, engage their imagination, name their pain, separate me from the herd, show precision and profit, and trigger curiosity and desire. Its, "Most businesses use their ad dollars to spray and pray with ads that are boring, stale, and corporate. I focus marketing on audiences already reaching for their wallets, and captivate them with content they can’t stop consuming."
