So the new Iwo Jima - Black Sand Watch was delivered at 1845 Friday. Pretty much the perfect timing for me to wear this long weekend in Canberra. We have a Sat, Saun, Mon long weekend for Canberra day which means one watch for the entire time after the delivery. It really looks very nice, I did like it when I saw The Watch Bros do a review on it. It is a very nice looking Feild Watch with some amazing history built in. The dome is exquisite, with the distortion playing very well with the light and refraction. The map is easy to read and the silver numeral buttons really do stand out and catch the rays. I have already ordered a new Strap Habit Khaki Sailcoth strap for it and look forward to seeing how that looks. If it doesn’t look good, there is always my other Feild watch that’s I was origionally looking at putting it on. Also I am pretty sure you will see this on Black Rubber in the next couple of days.

Happy Field Watch Friday! Running late scheduling eye surgeries this morning. And although this one was shared a few weeks ago, inspired by my friends @David Denham Jr and @Warren Money wearing their Militados today, loving this one so much made is easy to reshare my Militado ML05 38mm VH31 Quartz 1963 Retro Field Watch today, as well.
