Morning Pour ☕
Good morning, sisters! This morning's pour is from our foundational Scripture for tomorrow's prayer walk. It comes from Joshua 1:9 (ESV). "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Because of his obedience and faith, Joshua was commissioned by God to lead Israel into the Promised Land after Moses died. As a matter of fact, he and Caleb were the only 2 from their generation to see the Promised Land! This was a big job, and yes, God had already given the Promised Land to Israel, but there was still work to do. God makes promises to us, but we are called to obedience to secure those promises. God knew what Joshua was going to be up against, and because he is human, he would be fearful at times. In His sovereignty and love for His people, God knew how to encourage Joshua (and us). "I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it." - Nelson Mandela What step of faith is God calling you to take? Read the book of Joshua! I promise it will bless your life 🧡 I love y'all so much. Have a blessed day, Shavonne

Testimony Tuesday/I saw God in this moment...
Good morning, sisters! Okay, we want to know: where did you see God move this week? Last week? Because you know He absolutely IS moving, right? It could be in your family, with your child, on your job, or maybe in your quiet time with Jesus. *Your testimony matters, and it could be exactly what your sister needs today.* Please share below. Hey Sisters!! I pray everyone is having a great week. There are so many ways that God has shown up for me between this week and last week. What stands out the most is: My twin daughters turn 5 last week and for their birthday gift they were getting their own rooms. My girls have shared a room since birth. One of them are very attached, loves to share a room and be anywhere her sister is so this is a huge adjustment for her. When we did the reveal Carter was soooo excited she was running through her room screaming, jumping and was just extremely joyful. Olivia was happy but I could tell that she was processing and a little nervous. I asked her how she was feeling and she said I’m a little nervous about having my own room but I’m going to be brave. Fast forward to bath time. I went in to wash her up and she starts singing “All the other names fade away, Jesus take your place”. In that moment of her being a little scared and a littler nervous, she didn’t call on mommy, she didn’t call on daddy, MY BABY CALLED ON JESUS! She knew in that moment what she needed only God could give to her. After that we all started singing. This was a reminder to me that my children are always watching, she hears the cries, she sees the tears and she did what she saw her mother do. She called on Jesus! Proverbs 22:6 (ESV) “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” ‭‭

Hey Sister! Thanks for post this prompt. God is so good and faithful he has delivered me from so much, but I will share this: God has delivered me from the need to have control. It was how I was raised, that women were the controllers, that we did EVERYTHING. I had the opportunity to be a soft girl in my marriage but because the need to have control my husband slowly backed away from doing things because if they weren’t done my way I considered it incorrect and would fix it. I had to have my hand in everything until eventually I was able to identify it! My husband said to me you act like your mother, she controls her husband and you will not control me. He was right. My perspective shifted and I realized he was correct. I saw that this was a generational issue and decided that it was going to break and stop with me. God delivered me, although I still have moments, I now know I longer need to have control actually I had started hiding and watch what will others do first. It had made things easier seeing that things may not get done the way I would have done it but it still gets done and it has taken so much off my plate. God is in control not me and have to allow things to flow accordingly!
Morning Pour ☕
Good morning, sisters 🧡 Yesterday, my 14 year old daughter asked me a question that stopped me in my tracks (I was on my way to church). "Mom, why does God allow bad things to happen?" Not the question I was expecting her to ask as I was heading out the door, but I knew I had to take the time to be intentional with my answer, even if that meant I had to be late. First, let's be clear. I know where this question is coming from. It's coming from the world. It's coming from friends at school or maybe even family members who have questions, who are a different religion, or have chosen not to believe in God. Aubri is a believer. She's saved. She reads her Bible. This moment, God was telling me that yes, we've set a good foundation for her, but it's not enough. A prophet of the Lord told me two weeks ago to "get my house in order." The enemy knows her anointing and her gifts and wants her to question her identity in Christ Jesus. I'll save this discussion for another post, but let me get to what I told her: I told her that we live in a fallen world. God didn't create a world full of suffering. In the beginning, everything was good (Genesis 1). Sin was introduced in Genesis 3. What we see is the result of a fallen world. She knew that part. Our Father God allows things, but He doesn't waste anything. Nowhere in the Bible does it say everything is good, but it does say God can work all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Pain and suffering can be used for growth and for bringing us closer to Jesus. I told her that sometimes the thing that we're going through is what God uses to reveal Himself to us. I told her that we live in a world where we have free will. We have choices. God could force people to do what is right all the time, but then love wouldn't be real. You have to choose love. You have to choose God. I'm thankful that I had that moment with my daughter. It showed me where I need to step up! I can't assume that as believers, we know God's Word, and it also reminded me why I'm here. What my purpose is. To be an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), and to be a strong example to my children. To allow them to see me walk in boldness for Jesus, so they can, in turn, do the same thing. To send them into the world prepared, so when they are questioned, they can answer confidently and boldly.

Wow sister, this was great. First I love how you made time for your daughter and didn’t just brush her off because you had somewhere to be. That meant more to her than you could imagine. I wanted to share something. Last year I walk through what felt like pure hell. I had to watch my mother die from brain cancer and there was nothing I could do but be there with her in every stage of her end of life. Did it break me? Yes! Did I ask God why? Yes! But God used my pain and suffering to draw me closer to Him. I have been saved for many years (haven’t always lived a saved life), but I have never felt as close to God as I do now. I spent days on my knees and face just praying, crying, speaking in tongues what ever I needed to do to be in Gods presence. There was activation in that season so although I was losing my mother I was building a relationship with my father. That season wasn’t a waste as you explained to your daughter it was Him building my faith in Him up so I can walk boldly in my calling. Psalm 30:5 tells us that weeping may endure during the night but joy does come in the morning. I don’t look like what I been through because of Gods glory. I pray the Lord continue to allow me to suffer well! Thanks for pouring in my cup this morning! Love you Sister 🫶🏾
Hey Ladies!!
Just checking in. This has been a very heavy week for me. God is moving and sometimes those transitions bring on heaviness and being in a place of discomfort. Growth isn’t easy but it’s necessary. This is my growing pains season. I ask that you all pray for me as I navigate this new season. I will continue to trust God because he has never failed and never will! I love you all ♥️♥️!!

@Shavonne RiceThank you sister! This is my year of divine transformation , restoration , and surrender. Just as God instructed Jeremiah to go down to the potters house so her could be made a new and another. I believe that and I’m excited for what God is doing this season. Even in the heaviness I will continue to fix my eyes on Jesus! Thank you sister for your words of encouragement and continual prayer!
