The Fabrication of Torture: Deconstructing the Amnesty Myth
Here is the recording of our latest session. The destruction of a sovereign nation often begins with a single, unverified lie that is repeated until it calcifies into history. An accusation made without evidence is not an inquiry. It is a weapon. In our latest daily session, we conducted a forensic audit of the narrative that severed the West from its most critical ally in the Middle East. The target was the accepted history of the previous monarchy in Iran as a "torture state." Specifically, we dissected the 1976 Amnesty International report that served as the primary indictment against the regime. The collective analysis revealed a document built not on forensic proof, but on the frustration of access. The report admits to relying on hearsay and the complaints of political prisoners regarding "brands of cigarettes" rather than documented physical trauma. A sharp friction emerged within the discussion regarding the standard of judgment. A member proposed a stance of "historical agnosticism," arguing that a lack of transparency from the security services of the time suggests we should assume a probability of guilt. This violation of the presumption of innocence was met with a ruthless rebuttal. In both law and history, the burden of proof rests entirely on the shoulders of the claimant. To destroy a reputation based on a lack of counter-evidence is a logical fallacy that permits any slander to become truth. The room pivoted to the character evidence of the accused. We reviewed the historical record of a leader who pardoned his own would-be assassins and frequently clashed with his own security apparatus to demand the release of prisoners. To accuse a ruler who viewed his reign as a pedagogical mission of systematic sadism requires a smoking gun. None exists. We concluded that institutions driven by ideological capture have no standing to issue verdicts. When the prosecutor is a known liar, the case must be dismissed. This is not a space for the passive consumption of media narratives. We dissect history with the rigor of a courtroom and the honesty of a confessional. If you are prepared to challenge the comfortable lies of the last century and demand evidence where others accept hearsay, your seat at the table is waiting. The Fabrication of Torture: Deconstructing the Amnesty Myth

@Sabina Scott Conrad I believe we need to recognize the history, complete with the repression, knowing that the Shah was in great danger of assassination, due to the opposition of Islamists, who were upset by women being educated and adopting western style, and other things that sharia law rejects. I share your hope that a new, more democratic form of governing will be adopted. They should, of course, avoid a pure democracy, as the US founders did.

What is the best strategy for addressing gun violence? I wonder if we will be better off if everyone were required to be educated in firearm safety and use, complete with practice at a firing range, and everyone had a gun. (Possession of ammunition, however, may be optional.) We would also be educated in how to deal with negative emotions in ourselves and others, that create dangerous situations.

@Habib Steele I don't hate those who want to kill me, but I do wish to avoid them.
Islam's Divine Mandate: The Conquest of Western Civilization
In many Western countries, concrete barriers now surround Christmas markets to prevent Islamic terror attacks, yet we still refuse to name the threat. These fortifications are the physical architecture of a collision between two incompatible worldviews. The West operates under the delusion that all religions seek coexistence within a secular framework. The theological reality of Islam is different. Islam is a divine mandate for domination.

I think "Divine" belongs in quotes.
The Limits of Liberty: Should We Tolerate Communists and Islamists?
Here is the recording of our latest group discussion. The hardest test for any liberty movement is determining when tolerance becomes a weakness. Our latest daily session confronted this specific dilemma. We are a group dedicated to liberty. Yet we were forced to debate whether the West is allowing its own principles to be weaponized by its enemies. The discussion was heated and exposed a critical fault line in how we apply our values to reality. One faction of the room held the absolute libertarian line. They argued that "sunlight is the best disinfectant" and that censorship is always a mistake. Their stance was clear. If you ban hateful ideologies like radical Islamism or Communism, you do not destroy them. You only force them underground where they grow stronger. We argued that a free society needs to see the enemy clearly in order to defeat it in the open. The opposing view challenged this as naive. This side argued that we are not fighting a fair fight. We are facing billions of hostile actors and state-sponsored bot farms that flood our networks with propaganda. They warned that maintaining "absolute" free speech in the face of enemies who want to destroy us is not liberty. It is suicide. The debate moved toward a crucial distinction regarding the "Non-Aggression Principle." We discussed where speech crosses the line into violence. The conclusion was not that we should abandon liberty. The conclusion was that we must define exactly where our tolerance ends so we do not become the architects of our own destruction. Our daily sessions are not passive lectures. They are active strategy councils where we sharpen our arguments against the threats facing Western civilization. You need to be on the line to understand the true gravity of what is coming. Check the calendar to find the next scheduled session: https://www.skool.com/libertypolitics/calendar

Some things are intolerable, while others should not only be tolerated, but embraced.
The Warning We Erased
History remembers the welcome, but it deleted the warning. We are told that the Lady in the Harbor represents an unconditional open door to the world. But at her very dedication in 1886, the message was not one of charity. It was a strict social contract. The final words spoken that day drew a hard line in the sand that we have since erased: "There is room in America and brotherhood for all who will support our institutions and aid in our development. But those who come to disturb our peace and dethrone our laws are aliens and enemies forever." Civilization is not built on proximity. It is built on shared purpose. The invitation was never merely to arrive. It was to build. When you remove the requirement for assimilation, you are not welcoming new citizens. You are importing your own decline. I am Iranian. I watched the nation of my history books fade into memory. I know how quickly a civilization can vanish when it forgets its own values. There is no brotherhood without the burden of shared duty.

Was there a time when the warning was promoted? I think immigrants, before the age of entitlements, knew that they would have to work hard to earn success. As we became more of a welfare state, more and more came in illegally, as though they were sneaking in to Disneyland. Now we see Somali immigrants, some of whom were not satisfied with collecting welfare and resorted to massive fraud. These are exactly the kind of people we do not need.
