What is coming next for Heelwork Hackers vs results on the poll!
Thank you for all of you that voted! As most of you are at the beginning of the journey with heelwork training I plan to publish 2 extra modules. 1) 3 alternative ways to start heelwork training (step 1). - there are different ways to the same goal and sometimes with some teams we do first step in a little bit different way. But also few of you have started heelwork training different way (eg. left hand lure) so I want to give you roadmap on how to fit that into H4D and 7 step system. 2) All learning starts with motivation and building focus. And we need quite a lot of it in focused heelwork (no pun intended). We start often with the food games and luring but then adding some more drive and enthusiasm with toy play. Some of you did Play with Purpose so that will be brief reminder of lay formula while others will get some idea on how to build play event to power their heelwork training. Stay tuned!

What your biggest challenge in Heelwork training?
Hey guys! First of all thank you to all joined Heelwork 4 Dummies! If you are new here don't forget to introduce yourself in pinned post :) Second of all - Help me Help You! 🚨 ⚠️Tell me what is your biggest challenge in heelwork training? or what stage you are at? 🐕 I'm planning extra content on focused heelwork (along with street aka everyday heeling that was heavily requested) That will give me ideas for the content and tutorials that are coming!

🏆 COMPETITION TIME — CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD!
🏆 COMPETITION TIME — BUT FIRST… WHAT DO YOU WANT TO WIN? A lot of you are completely new to Skool, so a quick explanation of how the leaderboard works: Skool has a built-in points system. When other members like your posts or comments, you earn points and climb the community leaderboard. So post your training. Ask questions. Share your wins. Comment on other people’s videos. Give someone a like. Tell them they’re doing a great job. Post a dog meme if you want 😂 I want this community to be alive, active and supportive. And I’m going to start rewarding the Top 5 members on the leaderboard every 30 days. But rather than me deciding what you want… YOU tell me. What would you actually like to win? POLL: - 🎥 Private 1-to-1 training/video review with me - 👥 Exclusive small-group coaching call - 💰 Big discount on a future course - 🎁 Karate For Dogs gear / goodies Vote below 👇 And if there’s something else you’d rather win, put it in the comments. You seemed to like the $1 Heelwork deal, so I’m guessing I already know which option some of you are going to choose 😂 ps. in competition can take part all the members not only those that singed up for H4D Game on!

Heelwork practice
Here is our little attempt at heelwork. I have done fair bit with Frank so he understands to stay under the arm. Little pup Oreo has no idea what’s happening 🤣 Any tips what to do about the bunny hopping would be greatly appreciated ☺️

Hey found it!!!

First of all great job! To address bunny hopping you need more control over the movement in general. So I want stronger contact with my main luring hand (the one I hold food in- kong hand) work in that alone for a bit. I will unlock module on that! then I will adjust 2 things - how fast I’m moving and how high is my luring hand. Usually if you speed up that does the trick. That means spending little bit more time on the step 2 and addressing it over there before going into step 3. Hope it helps!
